I wouldn't mind trying everything on that list, except the mealworms... and Vygramul's possums.

That canned brown bread is delicious, my dad would always buy it when we shopped for food to bring on camping trips. Love that stuff.

Haggis curry, on the other hand, sounds like something that should be outlawed by the Geneva Conventions.

This. Boston brown bread is traditionally cooked (steamed) in coffee cans, and the packaged canned stuff is pretty close to the real thing.

Dunno how my girlfriend at the time did it, but she got a hold of canned haggis (I'm guessing she brought it back from Germany when she went). I demolished that shiat in one sitting.

Weed can wait, LEGALIZE HAGGIS!!!!

I've had reindeer (caribou) meat before. It's pretty good.  Reindeer Pate sounds delicious.

Mealworms have storage needs similar to shelled nuts, so an air tight can with a pull top sounds perfectly fine, although it looks like they've gone more to pouches.

I remember having the B&M canned bread as a kid I also remember that I liked it. No really it was quite tasty. More like a cross between a cake and bread if you ask me.

Spotted Dick is actually pretty OK.

It's a really heavy, thick suet-sponge pudding with rasins in. Cover in custard and enjoy on a cold night.

sdd2000: The bacon and eggs iis rated as a reasonably good camping food actually.

Yeah, to be fair, it really is good for camping.  It's freeze dried so you add hot water to it and it's ready.  Bring tortillas, some hot sauce and you've got breakfast tacos.

Canned meal worms seem perfect for pet sugar gliders. Maybe the author of the article should consider that perhaps some of those items are not meant for human consumption. I notice how canned dog food isn't on there.

The can claims they're BBQ flavor. How could that not be human food?
