The owner is looking for a one-legged man with an artificial leg, possibly with a pawn ticket stapled to it.

\Thought the one-armed man joke was a little too far-fetched.

\\But seriously. That is a very realistic arm. It must cost a fortune. Remember the episode of Bottom where Eddy and Rick steal the GBP5,000 carved wooden leg from the actor who plays Kryten and pawn it to get money to place upon "a sure thing". Saffy from AbFab played the barmaid. You don't see great outsider art like that much any more, but these prosthetic limbs are getting super-realistic.

THIS is why arms need to be regulated. Of course anything more than five fingers should be outlawed.

Did anyone finger a suspect? Any chance of trading arms for hostages?

Just yesterday my wife asked, "Why did the man with one arm cross the road?  To get to the second hand store."

Came for the Fugitive reference, leaving satisified.

I don't think that's ironic at all.  it seems apt to me.

Dear reporter Miriam Phillips of the Daily Echo: The word "prosthetic" doesn't mean what you think it means. That is not a prosthetic arm.

Must cost a leg!
