How ya doing QJ? Hoping better than the last couple of Caturdays!!

OlderGuy:
QJ.. glad to see you here, hope you are doing well.

I had my follow-up appointment with my regular doctor on Tuesday.
Because of some troubling readings from test results, he's referred me to a cardiologist for some more tests.
I have those on Monday and Tuesday.
We'll see if we can locate the culprit causing so many problems.
If they can, we'll see what we can do to rectify them.
Things are going to be iffy for a while longer.
Thanks for asking.

Been worrying about you & sending healing thoughts your way. Take care of yourself! Hope your mother is doing better.

How's Buddy?

He's actually having not a bad week!  Appetite is very good and he's taking all his meds!  I just don't get how he can be OK some days and at death's door a week later, and back.  The vet can't explain it, and doesn't know what else to do (other than trying to keep him comfortable, of course).  So we can't figure it out, but we know he could go at any time, so we just treasure these good days of a happy comfy Buddy at our sides, and leave it at that!  Can't think about anything else and don't want to.  He sends contented tail wags to everyone.

He's lost a little bit of weight recently, so he gets cold more easily, but on the plus side, his nice soft winter coat fits him very nicely now!  Which is good because it's getting well below freezing here.  But not so good because he absolutely hates wearing clothes and mommy *makes* him wear this when it's this cold.  He forgets about it and seems to enjoy himself more once we're outside, but eeew he can't get it off soon enough when we return!

Sending you big hugs.  Buddy says if he were there he'd lick your eyebrows until you fall asleep then sit on your feet to make sure you get lots of rest & don't move.  Take it easy and hang in there!  We like having you around.  :)

Yay caturday!
Our (very old) alpha master is still trying to train me. Panther gets upset if I do not go to sleep when he requires (usually around 9:pm) and does a "head bump" multiple times a night if I stay up past that. If I go to bed immediately, he curls up around an arm and eventually leaves but when he comes back just curls up on whomever he finds an exposed limb. Our other master, Gideon, takes it upon himself to snuggle/knead/wake up the teenager multiple times a night. Hoping for the best the kid put his electric blanket in a bird bath he brought in from outside, hoping a Gid would sleep there. Nope, the kid is more fun for Gid.

I asked the kid if we should look for an alternative home for Gid and I got the response I wanted. The kid accused me of murder/etc. the kid would be happy to be rid of me first. :)

Is it your heart?????  That is what usually causes most of my problems.  From the general public, and most of the people I work with, it's from a "lack" of one.  Their opinion, not mine.

Snuffybud: Happy Caturday everyone!! Thanks to everyone on the advice on the thyroid meds for Snuffy. He's been on them for a week now and boy has he perked up! He's got that "King of All Cats" attitude back, as Desi has ruefully learned! I've caught Snuffers chasing and pinning Desi a couple of time already. I don't feel real sorry for Desi as he's been poking Snuffy and asking for this for a while! I don't know if he's gained any weight as our scales don't agree with the vets. Snuffy will be headed back to the vets in a few weeks, we'll see if he's beefing up then.

Snuffy says "HI, Happy Caturday!"
