In the most awesome fashion ever.

I am assuming the whole thing's a joke (unlike the disgusting canned whole chicken shown above), especially with the constant reference to gamers.

Me too.  My dad only cooks 3 dishes and that is one of them.  We used to love it as kids.

Only those who haven't tried it don't like it. Milk based gravy and salt preserved, thinly sliced beef on bread. About the only ingredient there that some people might find "strange" is the gravy but lets be honest, if you've ever had a "Cream of (insert whatever here) soup" then you've already eaten pretty much the same thing.

I was served a canned cheeseburger on a British Rail train circa 1995.  Absolutely farking disgusting.  On the other hand, for lunch today I enjoyed roast turkey breast, sage stuffing, and cranberry sauce, rolled up in a flaky, crusty, golden Cornish pasty.  Mmmmmmmmmm!  This island can do food right when they can be bothered.

A MRE is infinitely more appetizing and that is saying a lot (although the tabasco helps).

Dubbed 'Christmas Tinner', the nausea-inducing concoction comprises of nine layers of food - ranging from a starter to a pudding

This is incorrect, isn't it? As I understand, the correct usage would be "concoction comprises nine layers." I have also heard that "concoction is comprised of nine layers" is becoming less incorrect over time. But I have never heard "comprises of."

I shouldn't use the daily mail as a grammar guide, should I?
