Note to self:  If I ever want to do a legitimate transaction through Craigslist, tell them to meet me in front of the police station.

Meet in a courthouse, that way they are screened before meeting you.

Lobby of a bank. You can instantly deposit the cash and and they even let me use an outlet to make sure items power on when buying. It is where I meet for any craigslist item over $100. Not to mention the dozens of cameras and armed guard.

You could say the criminal had a knack for luring victims into the Kill zone.

I wonder if the seller copied down the serial number of that unit first before the meeting.

Yowza. What could make people desperate enough to do that? How can people let such conditions happen?

Washington DC. You should visit sometime and check out the crime rate. Considering the bank is less than 500m from my house it isn't a huge inconvenience when someone is bringing you $500+ in cash.
