Despite everything, she's worth millions and still in demand even at age 32.

Through it all, what's important is that we'll always remember the music.

Wait, no we won't.

She is part of a large, and growing, group of celebrities that I just feel bad for.  These people were farked with and twisted as kids, and I don't think most of them will ever be quite right.  It's nice that everyone in the media is currently on board with her come back, but her break downs in the past reveal some real, bad issues, and she's never really going to get the help she needs because everyone around her still just wants to whore her out.

See also: Lindsay Lohan, Amanda Bynes, Misha Barton, Corey Feldman, and coming soon to a freak out near you, Justin Bieber.

It's the Michael Jackson problem, it's just happening a lot more now with modern superstars.  You start out, and never quite have enough of a regular life as a kid to create a grounding in a reality that's similar to the rest of the world.  Things that are off the wall to an average person are regular occurrences, and you wield a lot of power before you have any discipline to control it.  Most mid-level talents would fall apart and lose their career, spiraling into obscurity until they have nothing.  Then they rebuild and actually create a normal life.  You get a VH1 special, and you go on the speaking circuit.

But these new superstars remain in demand, and so the spiral has so much further to go, and has no real bottom.  Bieber should be unconscious in a gutter right now, and he's still raking in millions.  Brittany too.  But they get propped back up and put on stage because they still sell tickets.  The eventual crash for these guys if they don't fix it isn't rehab and starting over, it's death.

And the low parts.

Unfortunately, the high parts seem to be getting lower.

monoski: What is with the resurgence of Britney threads/articles?

Building her back up to tear her back down; typical entertainment news cycle

Britney did discover one important rule. Don't knock up/get knocked up by your backup dancers.
Next thing you know, they'll believe they are the talent.

Why didnt they put Federline as a low? She seems to have gotten better once her dad took over, but who knows what kinda creepy stuff can be lurking there.
