I never hated brussel sprouts, but we never really had them growing up, either. Now they are a great snack  - lightly steam those farkers and then toss them in a bag with some sea salt.  As a bonus, your doctor won't ever tell you you need to eat more fiber ever again.

Yup, cooked correctly they're delicious. Over cooked they're little balls of nasty shiat

I roast mine with a little olive oil, some garlic, shallots, and bacon.  Freaking awesome.  Think I'll make some tomorrow.

I think I'll try them again.  Last time I cooked them, I roasted them whole with EVOO and salt.  Maybe I'll try steaming them quartered and finish in the pan/oven like someone said.

I agree they are awesome if prepared properly. I prefer the olive oil brushing & broiling in an oven. Crisp and delicious.

I have always liked brussels sprouts. They are like bite-sized cabbages!

Is this the place where we mock people who don't know, or can't spell correctly, the name of said vegetable?

Cut them into eighths and sautee fast in hot oil until barely tender. Liberally dust with fresh ground pepper. That is all.

I like Brussel Sprouts, Lima Beans, Canned Spinach, Raw Potatoes, Naked Celery, and Salad with no dressing on it!
