OK, so they referenced the name of a movie that the guy was in as a puzzle.  I fail to see the problem.  Are we all supposed to never mention anything he ever did just because he's dead?  Because that seems like a really terrible way to memorialize somebody.

Aren't the shows filmed a month or two in advance anyway? Who cares?

Jesus... All this sudden butthurt over Paul Walker like he was Clark Gable and the Fast and Furious movies were f-ing Schindler's List or something... Actors die, they get hurt/killed/OD. But let's stop getting butthurt over any mere mention of them outside of reverence when they die, ok? Fark...

Exactly.  It also didn't call him out by name.  Just a title.  I know other shows have pulled inappropriate episodes in times of grief.  I don't think this should have been pulled.

I agree, that's silly.  There are far, far better reasons to never mention the Fast and the Furious movies

You seem to be fixated on projecting butthurt and as a self-licensed interwebby pop psychologist I want to help you work through it.

Could you add a roid donut to your Amazon wishlist?

All this angst over the title of one of Walker's films showing up on Wheel of Fortune (an episode filmed a couple of months ago).  And, at the end of the article, the writer is celebrating that the world will have the 7th installment in the franchise to cherish when it opens five months from now.  Given the advances in CGI coupled with the availability of recordings of Walker's dialogue in each of the seven installments topped off with the minimalist need for complex elocution in the scripts of these films, Hollywood should be able to churn out another 15 installments of the franchise, with most of the moviegoing public not even batting an eye in amazement.

If you set your DVR to record them you can watch the week in under an hour.

So I've been thinking about how they can wrap Brian's arc up without killing him. I'll tell you up front, it'll be clichéd...but what in the series isn't at this point? Hear me out.

Spoilers...if they can be called that:

Have Brian survive an attempt on his life by going to ground and changing his appearance. Then, after an undetermined amount of time, he resurfaces and, with help from Hobbs and what few friends he has left in the FBI, makes his own play to take out Shaw at the same time Dom is gunning for Shaw himself in retaliation for the damage he's done. Story unfolds from there, then at the end, Brian, Mia and their kid get on a plane (or in a car) and head off into the sunset, out of the game for good.

So, who to play the new iteration of Brian? I was thinking Taylor Kitsch.

/just my imagination talking
//whatever they do, I hope they do it right
///I should probably sit down and write this out as a story.

Probably several months in advance. They film a week's worth of shows in one day, so an entire season of the show can be done in about three months. Nice work if you can get it.
