Di Atribe: eddievercetti: SilentStrider: eddievercetti: Eagles are 10?

Ummmm...that was unexpected.

So...yeah, we need to win or the Cowboys need to lose. Nuff said really.

You just know it's going to come down to week 17.

If we're lucky, the Skins could play spoiler...IF

Dudes. Really? You've seen the Redskins play this year, right?

Primitive Screwhead: robsul82: Primitive Screwhead: Jason Whitlock can suck my ass.

Why, what'd he say.

On PTI he spewed out : "The Seahawks have peaked too early. They have played their best football game" and then proceeded to go on about how they will now slide into being a losing team.
Mr. Whitlock also threw in "They can't win in the playoffs with Russell Wilson as quarterback"

Huh.  That is odd, lol.  I mean, I guess you could go with the "team that looks unstoppable prior to the playoffs hasn't won in years" idea, but that's different than "Wilson can't win in the playoffs."

As long as you ignore the times when they win, they're winless. Fun fact: The Seahawks haven't played a home game in two years, apparently, either.

Oh, how the NFL wishes they'd played their best game. Last I checked, we allowed the Saints to score thanks to some dumb penalties, including an offsides on 3rd down that kept the drive alive. And we didn't even score on every drive. And we still didn't even use Harvin. Hell, Lynch didn't even really get going.

Lynch was held to 2.8 YPC.

Only scored 7 points in the 2nd half.

Only forced one turnover.

Backup defense played last couple of drives.

Won by 27 points.

Which is a valid take I'm OK with and a fact I'm a little wary about but his take was basically "They blew their wad. Game Over"

According to some talking heads, the Seahawks went 0-2 in last years playoffs ;)

What is stupid about the Seahawks are 1 for 2 in the playoffs with Russell Wilson as quarterback, so this statement is demonstrably false.

Also, how exactly do you "peak" in football? If the Seahawks have peaked too early, then I guess so have the.... Chiefs, Bronco's, Panthers, Saints, and Patriots. By this guys logic we should just give the trophy to the Lions right now since they are probably the best team that hasn't discernably peaked yet this season.

I'm not sure if that Saint is trying to Dragon Punch or Tiger Uppercut the ball; looks like the latter.

I love the pontificating that goes on with ATH & PTI.  Kornheiser and Mike have been frothing for Seattle all year.  I'm betting Mike wasn't there because they would have been agreeing too much.  Whitlock is trying to troll, but Tony agreeing with him caught me off guard.  I was surprised how much gushing for the Hawks Bob Page did on that show.

/I love the enthusiasm of Bob Page, Bomani Jones, Woody Paige and Jackie McMullan on ATH
