Subby, you made it sound as if the return of the chalice was some sort of petty demand by the Iranians. Instead it was a wonderful extension of a diplomatic hand to a nation we have publicly treated as a second rate chump or a cartoon villan.

Cheers to the admin for doing this and to the Iranians for seeing it as the honest gesture it was.

I'm confused.  I was assured the Holy Grail was actually the woman Jesus married (or maybe her uterus, Baigent and the boys were never that clear).  So, this means the Iranians think Jesus was into critters?  Or maybe cosplay, since the critter in question is imaginary?

Cheers

An art dealer illegally smuggled the chalice, looted from an Iranian cave, into the U.S. in 2003 to orchestrate a multi-million dollar sale.

Hey Subby, it wasn't lost, it was stolen and we were keeping it.  Not sure why we didn't return it back in 2003?

I'm thinking it's an early Brita water filter. Water goes through the mouth, drinkable water in the middle, impurities go through the rear. Persian kings did worry lots about poisoning those days.

And Iran was actively supporting people killing US soldiers. That mightve chilled our desire to return their griffin butt cup

Actually 2003 was a little bit before that. Maybe the cup bestows the gift of clairvoyance to the holder.

Let's not forgot the traitor Reagan and how he negotiated with a foreign power to CONTINUE to hold American hostages before he was President.
