Sometimes, fantasy football makes no damn sense.  This team is 6-6.

Rivers Ok, I can see this as the Bengal secondary is banged up
Miller I wouldn't the Jets are probably the best run D in the league, he'll get the opportunity but won't expect much.
Gordon, Yes start him.
Tamme Yes if Thomas can't go he's worth a flyer
Luck, if you have a better option I can see benching him but he does play better at home.
Ridley, With the exception of Vereen I can't tell you who's gonna get what for the Pats RBs.
Shorts, Joe Haden
Gates, tough matchup but if you have him what are you going to start instead?

Lt. Cheese Weasel: Sometimes, fantasy football makes no damn sense.  This team is 6-6.

And this one is 10-2.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the 10-2 team has P. Manning. Combine the fact that he had an unbelievable start with the fact that each team he is on probably didn't even have to use a first round pick on him, and I'd be surprised if he wasn't leading at least 50% of fantasy teams to first place.

Defense: KC's slipping D hosting Peyton, or Cardinals at Philly?

Well, the teams that I have that have manning, I took him first round and none of them but that one is 1st place.  And the teams that don't, I couldn't.  Still, that 6-6 team is beast mode (on paper) and it sucks.

Not a good idea to defend vs Peyton, no matter what the alternative is. Go with Cards.

Cards.

Yes fantasy football makes no sense.  I have 3 solid teams in yahoo pro leagues and all of them will need a miracle to make the playoffs.  I have a team with Newton, Marshall, Lynch, Charles, J. Thomas struggling at 6-6 and It was picked off a few weeks ago by a guy who had 3 0's since he had given up.  He had enough guys just go off and I couldn't quite pull it out.  I lost by 6 yards.

2013-12-01 10:59:37 AM
My team is 10-2 as well and for the first 8 games had Matt Ryan as QB.  I picked up Foles once Vick went down and he's now the starter.

Riley Cooper
Ben Tate
Ryan Matthews
Stevan Ridley

If I have to Cooper and Tate.

Ty Hilton vs Tennessee, k. Thompkins @ Houston, Mario manningham vs saint Louis, Reuben randle @ Washington. Pick two, non-ppr league.Right now I'm leaning towards Hilton and thompkins.

Which of these gems is the better option?
Carson Palmer
RG3

I am leaning for Palmer given RG3s recent struggles and a better matchup

As a Skins fan, I can tell you that our secondary is absolute shiat, and I would consider Randle over Thompkins.

2013-12-01 11:13:49 AM
I'd start Palmer.

2013-12-01 11:16:18 AM
Michael Floyd or Harry Douglas?  Leaning towards Floyd because Atlanta sucks.

2013-12-01 11:18:30 AM
Crunch time. Three teams, one a locked in #2 seed, one I control my own destiny as far as playoffs, and one I need a bit of help.

I guess my dilemma is this week is Fleener or Olsen. And Cameron or Reed. Have Olsen and Cameron penciled in right now, as they seem like the better choices.

I also had to decide between Antonio Brown or Josh Gordon, but went with Brown. Hindsight is killing me right now, but what can ya do. And of course there's the weekly Jeffrey, Gordon, Garcon, VJax choice I have to make, but at this point I just sit whoever has the "worse" matchup, which is VJax this week.

Flex spot, PPR: Kendall Wright (catches a ton), Frank Gore (consistent) or Knowshon Moreno (hopefully ankle not torn apart)?

I'd agree but nicks will be splitting catches with randle. Also, my entire Texans team including defense appears to have given up for the season, and the new England Bradies always have Houston's number. Any thoughts?

RG3

I'm rolling with RGIII still, but mostly because I want him for his weeks 15 and 16 matchups, and Cutler is still out. I'm hopeful this is the week he turns it around and puts up good numbers versus the giants. Which is far from a winning strategy. Palmer is probably a safer bet.

You have to go with wright don't you? San Fran's already started to pull back on gore a bit. After that, wright and Moreno are pretty even, and when all else is equal go with the healthy guy

Jordan Reed (Q) or Greg Olsen?  Is Reed even playing?

2013-12-01 11:25:35 AM
My problem:

Jimmy Graham vs Seahawks

or

Gronk vs Houston

Normally, I would never question Jimmy, but they are in @ Seattle. Plus, those Seahawks can add shut people down.

Fyi... Brady is my QB

Take Beibers and Gronk.  Double plus bonus pts. And Houston is crap.  Seabirds at home are nearly untouchable, even if it is Brees.

Jimmy graham's been in single digit points twice this season...and one of those was the saints' bye week.

He's was single digits vs Cowboys & 49ers. No points against NE.

I always assume people are playing in a ppr...in a full point ppr, he got 10 points against cowboys and niners. And the zero was his first no catch game since his rookie year, so I'd throw that one out

Who wants to play: Are You An Idiot?!

Here's my current starting WRs:

DAL  Dez Bryant (Already Played)
ARZ  Larry Fitzgerald
TEN  Kendall Wright

This is who I have on the bench:

ARZ Michael Floyd
SEA Golden Tate
NYG Hakeem Nick

So, am I an idiot for starting Wright instead of going full Arizona? (my QB is ARZ's Carson Palmer, Matty Ice getting the bench this week!)

DeSean Jackson vs. 'Zona's D (and Peterson), or Shane Vereen....

Pretty much need a big game out of my flex to clinch the 1 seed. So...

K. Wright, Bowe, Wallace, S. Johnson, or D. Brown.

Its a PPR and like I said I probably need a huge game and not just consistent points. Who has the highest ceiling/likelihood to go off?

If I started J. Bell I wouldnt even be asking.

Josh Gordon probably won't do much.  Weeden is QB again and hasn't won in a year and is a garbage QB and targets Cameron much more.  I should know: I watch this Clowns team every week.

OK, so Danny Woodhead vs, the Bengals or Knowshon Moreno with ankle issues vs. the Chiefs?  The numbers say Knowshon but what if he sits down?

Wes Welker @ KC or Larry Fitzgerald @ PHI ?

And if it would help, my other WR's are Victor Cruz @ WASH, Josh Gordon @ JAX, or Pierre Garcon @ NYG.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I'd play Fitz and Gordon out of that group. Cruz looks like he has an easy day but he's screwed me over too much this year

Yeah, Cruz has been a rollercoaster, and damn my luck, I've usually started him on the downs, not the ups...

It's make it or break week in my 12 man money league...

Matt Ryan (has been sucky as of late) vs Buffalo or Andy Dalton (has been hit or miss) vs San Diego?
Points will score as follows:
Passing Yards 25 yards per point; 5 points at 300 yards; 5 points at 350 yards; 5 points at 400 yards
Passing Touchdowns 4
Interceptions -1
-leaning towards Dalton

Adding to this dilemma...TE spot also up for debate since ATL has been munchin dix this season...
Tony Gonzalez (projected at 14.53) vs Buffalo or Jordan Cameron (projected at 12.64) vs Jacksonville
 -leaning toward Cameron

Plus, really, the alternative is Gronk. Gronk is almost a no-brainer start over Graham this week. It's not like he's relying on Jordan Reed or somebody that's otherwise not as talented as Graham...

Yeah but the alternative is Gronk, who's equally talented. It's not like your trading talent for matchup in this case, you've got an equally capable alternative, who isn't hurt, and is facing an easier defense. Start Gronk, and don't worry about it...

Note the Patriots Defensive philosophy is to take away a teams best weapon.  The Seahawks don't necessarily play D the same way.  I would expect Sherman on Colston.

That's true, but I don't think you can just throw the Pats game out. Seattle probably *can* shut down Graham if they want to. Plus, he's hurt, and the alternative is Gronk (against a middling Houston D). For me it's not even a question. The only thing that sucks is not being able to play one at flex.

Dalton has a better match up.

"hit or miss" is better than "miss"

That TE situation is not envied. However Gates is the only respectable healthy scorer left on that team right?

Agree, but it depends on the league/offers people would make. People can be stupidly stingy when they think someone's only gonna sit on your bench.
