I've lauded several of the good things she's done. Quitting as governor virtually assured she'd never be taken seriously for public office again. I also commend her for ensuring the 2008 potus election for Obama

Go home, Sarah, you're drunk

She also signed Alaska's domestic partner benefits law. So to review: The hero of right wing 'Merka raised taxes on oil companies and extended state benefits to the homogheys.

Democrat Democrats, or Alaska Democrats?

That's funny because I can see the space-time continuum from my porch.

Well we sure don't need someone who took on graft and corruption [ in her own party ] or took measures to curb Government Spending or decreased regulations or would take on the energy sector for increased money for her constituents or even fight environmentalists blocking a Natural Gas pipeline to the lower 48 which would increase Alaska's and its citizens take .

We are much better off without someone like her .
She didn't have to quit her job with a 65 percent favorable rating just to be able to fight the 16 unwarranted lawsuits generated by the Airplane loaded with Democratic Slip And Fall Lawyers that went to Alaska to dig up dirt on her .
Eventually all but one were dropped and one was thrown out .

BMulligan: Democrat Democrats, or Alaska Democrats?

Had the same thought.  Perhaps it's time for our Nation to ditch the old DEM/GOP stereotypes and labels, and come up with 2-3 new political parties and affiliations.

maybe some time in the far distant future we can all say the truth. no one is all good or bad. palin is farked up but she has (or had) her moments. this "my team rah rah rah" crap is how we got where we are now.

I'm sure she did a fine job in Alaska, and should keep that up by staying the fark in Alaska.

Some of the good she did was less about it being right and more about pissing of the opposing factions in her own party

And to top it all off, she got the funding for a bridge to nowhere and decided to keep the money and ditch the bridge.

America needs you
Sarah Palin
Sarah could you please come home
Things are looking bad
I know you would be mad
To see your favorite men
Prevail upon the land you love

America's wondering
How we got here
Sarah all we get is lies
We're gettin' safer cars
Rocket ships to mars
From men who'd sell us out
To get themselves a piece of power

We'd love to hear you speak your mind
In plain and simple ways
Call a spade a spade
Like you did back in the days
You would play piano
Each morning walk a mile
Speak of what was going down
With honesty and style

America's calling
Sarah Palin
Sarah you know what to do
The world is turnin' round and losin' lots of ground
Oh Sarah is there something we can do to save the land we love
Oh woah woah woah

America's calling
Sarah Palin
Sarah you know what to do
The world is turnin' round
And losin' lots of ground
Sarah is there something we can do to save the land we love
Oh
Sarah is there something we can do to save the land we love
Sarah
Sarah is there something we can do to save the land we love

"I don't think we're even going to touch on Sarah Palin, our arguments are so logical and rational...."

The implication being that all cogent arguments are rendered null and void the instant she's mentioned.

Sounds about right.

She quit. That was good.

We have to prop her up a bit so she can enter the race for the GOP nod in 2016. Of course she will quit 20 minutes after her announcement, but she will have done her job...

don't forget... she created the Alaska Climate Change Sub-Cabinet...

"Alaska needs a strategy to identify and mitigate potential impacts of climate change and to guide its efforts in evaluating and addressing known or suspected causes of climate change. Alaska's climate change strategy must be built on sound science and the best available facts and must recognize Alaska's interest in economic growth and the development of its resources."

love bringing that one up as well to her derpy supporters. her talking about "sound science" and "facts" always makes me chuckle.
