I just saw artist James Prosek's exhibition at the Addison Gallery in Andover, MA, and it was very much like this, mixing audobon society-type naturalist drawings with fanciful chimeras and weird dioramas. I like this trend!

Bon Voyage, Charlie Brown was on the other day and I was dismayed to not only see adults but to also hear them talking normally!  I don't remember that from my childhood!

I also was surprised to see Charlie Brown reading the letter Snoopy typed in "Snoopy Come Home"

I mean, I've seen these things 100 times but I guess it never clicked it happened!

I always saw Snoopy's antics as sort of like Stewie Griffin.  He's typing on a typewriter but the main character don't really notice or acknowledge it.

Charlie Brown actually reading a letter he's typed shatters my suspension of disbelief

Snoopy wrote mostly Nationalist and some anti-technology screeds.

I seem to recall in the comics that the other characters would often read and critique Snoopy's perpetual novel-in-progress.

That was some pretty impressive photoshopping, removing the Worth1000 watermarks and all.

Um, love child? Aren't Snoopy and Woodstock both boys? I mean, uh, ya know.

Woodstock is not a parakeet, Snoopy is not a bulldog, and I'm pretty certain they are both males.

I was just going to ask how long ago it was that FARK or Something Awful had this photoshop contest.
