Sorry, I can't give you more than 5,000 for it. Maybe 50,000 if you don't involve the police.

Joan Ginther. Texas lottery. If you don't know it, you're not spending enough time on the internets.

I hope some immigrant get it, offers to pay his neighbourhood's rent and then farks off out of dodge, without even paying his own rent.
That would be funny. And American.

Or have the immigrant go to the place he bought the ticket and get scammed by the immigrant storeowners who tell him he's won $100. Or gets offered $1000, if he doesn't phone the police. Which would also be funny. And American.

I don't wanna win a million @ Old Navy's Black Thursday, but a Texas lottery winner did restore a vintage abandoned TeePee motel...

After buying a house, car, and piano.

Buy the piano first and then build a house just for it. With a large soundproof practice/recording room. Drool.

Now the company will say that they only promised a one dollar give-away. They will demand the other 499,999 back.

That's a lot of hookers and blow.  Lucky bastard.  Go out with a smile on your face.  I hope he has a shrew ex-wife that divorced him years ago (so no right to any of the money).

The mega-lotto here is at about $230 million.  I tossed a single buck at that.  I know math so I don't bother with spending $20 or more for tickets to "improve my odds".  One buck.

I already have the house picked out.  It costs about six million.  It has a farking indoor pool and a view of the San Francisco skyline and the Golden Gate bridge.

/no, I have not quit my job nor cancelled my apartment lease.  I did the math.

mega millions changed their number field a little while ago. supposed to increase your chance of winning. and if you like to win a dollar more often the change helps. if you like big prizes not so much.

Under the new matrix, the odds of hitting the jackpot will be 1 in 259 million

we play at work but will be dropping mega millions from our pool.

That's the Sac-n-Pac right down the same road from my high school. Graduated from there 30+ years ago. was looking up classmates until I becamed disheartened so many were dead. The hot chicks though, not hot any more. There was that and the Buda grocery there on loop 4, which now curves out to the Cabelas.

Pianos aren't that expensive if you're not looking for super-duper quality. The one my mom left me is worth around $800, and it cost me half that just to have it moved down to my current house from my dad's living room.

/sentimental value, damn it all

he didn't get a "promotional lottery ticket".

he got a promotional add-on to a 'bought and paid for as usual' lottery ticket.

why is reading so hard for some people?
