MAKE THIS HAPPEN!

Pie is more fun to make than it is to eat, at least for me. Automating foods is just stupid. I have a toaster, a stick blender, and a crock pot, and those are really the only "kitchen gadgets" I will tolerate.

/going to make banana cream pumpkin pie tomorrow; too full and tired to cook and eat it tonight

Remember how hydrogenated oils were our salvation and lard was going to kill us all?

I'd say the food of tomorrow looks a lot like today, but we'd probably be better off getting the chemists out of the kitchen.

It won't be a viable technology until you can print the whipped cream, too

Just what we need: even more processed food.

Mmmmm, performance art that will never happen again. Do you honestly believe this is some sort of indication of where the kitchen is headed? Are you dense, stupid, retarded or just a slack-jawed dewy-eyed mindless optimist?

It's not even amusing anymore. Now it's just lazy.

But folks who are familiar with eating trends in the U.S. say that much of America won't be tempted by 3-D printed dessert, whether the filling is apple, pumpkin or pecan.

Er, pie filling has been squirted out of machinery into mechanically created crusts for some time now, and Sara Lee seems to be doing alright with it's "3d printed" fare. Whether or not the already-automated nozzle is hooked up to an arcade claw machine is not going to play a big role in the decision making process when standing in front of the grocery freezer.

/3d printed cake icing might make the bakery a pretty penny or two, though
//and spell the message right

About as realistic as someone that thinks we can live forever.

If my pie are square, will they fit in the printer better?

Oh nonsense - I'm going to make it to heaven, and light up the sky like a flame.

No, just confident that the mere mention of the possibility that someone, somewhere might be considering the possibility of this technology would irritate you
