Oh come on.  We all take our job home with us from time to time, no reason to be critical.

I think you're doing it wrong

Most drug councillors are addicts. I remember one time on judge Judy she had a witness that was trying add a veneer of respectability by bragging she was an addiction councilor. In two seconds the judge asked ,"were you ever arrested and are you an addict?". It totally shot her credibility out of a cannon.

At least she died doing what she loved.

RECOVERING addicts.

Well, at least she won't be passing along any advice, since she clearly had no idea what she was doing.

Cocaine, vodka, benzo-furies and 6 other undisclosed drugs. I can see Rick James as her tour guide at the foyer to heaven/hell.  "our father, nasty be his name".

Jennifer Whiteley had nine different drugs in her system

Tunnah testified that the couple took "bombs" of the legally-purchased Benzo Fury, the technical name for which is 5-(2-aminopropyl) benzofuran, after sharing a pint of vodka mixed with orange juice. Whitely then took cocaine

OK, that's three (if you count the vodka). What were the other six?

Ctrl + F, Molly......No results.  Holy shiat, I don't believe it.  I'll just wait till the other outlets start reporting it as that, which I'm sure they will.

Some of the most out of control addicts I've ever known were also drug counselors during the day....

Most drug counseling programs are a sad joke.

Oh really, mom? It doesn't now occur to you that the "panic attacks" could have been a side effect of the cocaine use?

You obviously don't watch her show or know much about her. She was a family court judge and now acts as an arbitrator. She's very very good at figuring people out.

Methinks this particular drug counsellor is not recovering.

She won't be taking them again--forever.  I guess you could say she's completely abstaining from them 100% now, as she is dead.

Cocaethylene isn't something that people buy or take but is actually made inside the body when you have both high concentrations of both cocaine and alcohol in the blood.  It is more dangerous than either drug alone and is particularly cardiotoxic. People like to combine the two regardless.

The cocaine and propranolol alone can be a lethal combibation. Never mix your sympathomimetics with your beta blockers.

Many people are stupid. The argument usually takes the line of 'but x takes it all the time and x is okay'. Yeah and some people drive cars while drunk and manage not to crash and kill people, but that doesn't mean it's smart to drive while drunk, either.

Maybe we should just let them have whatever they want, and consider it chlorine for the gene pool.

Mixing proponal with stimulants was probably her fatal mistake - you cannot mix a beta-blocker with stims due to how it affects the way the heart pumps blood with its four chambers.
