So if these were chosen by the fans, here's what I expect we may see today:

Manos
Mitchell
Final Sacrifice
Space Mutiny
Cave Dwellers
Fugitive Alien II
Diabolik
Eegah!
OATMB

I'm hoping for a few that don't get a lot of love.

I can't see the Turkey Day marathon for some reason, but I bought the 25th Anniversary set this week and have three movies to watch yet: Gorgo, Mitchell, and The Head that Wouldn't Die.

Among my particular favourites are Eegah!, The Giant Gila Monster, Plan 9 from Outer Space, Teenagers from Outer Space, Frankenstein vs. the Space Monster, The Creeping Terror, and pretty nearly all the classic B movies.

The Creeping Terror is great. What's not to love about Attack of the Carpet Samples?

Beginning of the End is wonderful with its grasshoppers attacking postcards of Chicago. In fact any SF movie with Peter Graves, John Agar, or John Carradine is fun.

I have nearly everything they did, plus a lot of stuff from Cinematic Titanic, Riff Trax, and the Film Crew.

I won't be deprived if I can't tune into the Marathon. So many riffs, so little tech support. All the same, it would be great to be able to watch this stuff "with" somebody. I like to riff on the movie myself and it's more fun with other people.

This one.

According to Mystery Science Theater 3000 Amazing Colossal Episode Guide on page 97, the cast had heard a rumor that actor Joe Don Baker was very angry at the MST3K treatment of Mitchell, and threatened physical violence on any of the cast or crew should he ever meet them in person. This did not stop them from later featuring (and happily mocking) another of Joe Don's films, Final Justice, and hurling even more vicious insults at Baker.[6] Kevin Murphy, who played MST3K's robot commentator Tom Servo as well as serving as one of the show's writers, later said Baker likely meant it in a joking manner. Nevertheless, Michael J. Nelson stated that he avoided running into Baker when he discovered that they were both staying at the same hotel.

2013-11-28 11:22:26 PM
At the end there were 13k people watching.  That's pretty epic.

I got into MST3K in the late 90's and missed most of it.  Since then I have been a fan and exploring it at my own pace.

It does my heart good to see people coming back to it.

2013-11-29 01:37:38 AM
All this for a 25 year old show that hasn't been on the air in nearly 10 years.

It does my heart good to see the younger fans too. Lots of them are doing their own riffs on newer stuff. Most weren't around for the original airings or were too young, and many were not even born when the show was on Comedy Central.

Good, funny things never die.

I was able to catch 'I Accuse My Parents' and the first part of 'Werewolf'. I own all the DVDs and I could pull them off the shelf and watch them any time but there was something so cool about this. It gave me a warm, fuzzy feeling to see MST3K on my television again, even if it was streaming from the internet. I hope they do it again next year.

2013-11-29 07:42:30 AM
I watched the whole thing while cooking/eating. Posted quite a bit on twitter too. It was nice to see such a good response mst3k was trending most of the day and during "Final Justice" Rowsdower was trending.
