Aren't all Twitter spats whiny and stupid regardless of who is involved?

It's Thom. And now you made him need a hug.

Also, as whiny twitter rants go, this rates a 1 out of 5 tissues.

More like because of all of us fans are sick of hearing it on the radio. Pablo Honey was a weak album overall, and best forgotten. Also, In Rainbows was originally released by Radiohead online for the insanely high price of "at least a penny, but hey, just pay us whatever you feel it's worth".

Funny how Moby became so rich and well-known thanks to, y'know, so many people actually *buying* copies of his album. Sure, he can amuse himself with vanity projects on BitTorrent now - but he's not exactly a starving artist.

I actually envision Thom and Moby running around a playground squirting Summer's Eve at each other.

He's also been pretty open about licensing a lot of his work ("Play" anyone?), so he knows how to play the system (or "sell out" if you don't like him).

Don't get me wrong, I like Moby, I've been a fan since "Go". And I've seen him multiple times and met him once (very nice guy, also very short). I also like Radiohead, though I've never seen them live.

...

Can someone explain to me what they're arguing about?

A lot of celebrities would be better off staying away from the internet so we can't see what whiney little biatches they are.

Music streaming services (Spotify) and the amount they pay artists.

Not that I'm eager to defend Thom Yorke, but it's possible they can't play it live without having to pay out the ass. Creep pretty flagrantly ripped off the melody to the Hollies' The Air That I Breathe, to the level that Radiohead got taken to court, lost, had to pay damages, and were then forced to credit Mike Hazlewood and Al Hammond as the songwriters on all future pressings of Pablo Honey.

I get mistaken for Moby in public. A lot.

I'm learning to leverage it to my advantage.

It got me a table at a crowded steakhouse two weeks ago. I guess they didn't know Moby is a vegan

once those two hacks realized they were on Twitter, they should have killed themselves.

Wasn't Thom an early endorser of Spotify?

Oh look, another completely established act saying there's nothing wrong with Spotify.  How utterly predictable.

This is almost as good as Grohls "anyone can do it man!" flagwaving, while omitting the fact that anyone can try, and most will fail.

This sort of shiat serves zero purpose.

No.  The Radiohead audience is not there to hear Creep. *humongous eyeroll*

They're both awful.  Wake me up when Joe Satriani weighs in.
