He's a ten-foot tall beast man, who showers in vodka, and feeds his baby shrimp scampi.

He's a brilliant man.

His name is Earl?

If Obama had a dad...

Ugh, I had to spend last Thanksgiving in jail. After hearing from the trustees that they had been preparing to serve larger than normal chow that day, I learned never trust anyone in jail. I'd rather have performed cunninglingus on my grandmother than eat that sad excuse of turkey giblets, cranberry sauce, and grit medley they passed off as 'food'.

Looks like he's holding up pretty well given the circumstances.

Good to know. I was beginning to worry that he'd died. The site hasn't been updated in awhile.

He's been rocking a mohawk surprisingly since his last update.  Cirrhosis and/or mental illness has not been kind.  He's not looking quite as chipper and happy drunk as before, more of a "Alas Night Train, I knew him once..." holding an empty bottle kind of drunk.

Heartwarming. Makes me want to send liquor to the prison.

I was positive he had died, haven't heard anything about him in a long time.

You think alcoholic homeless guys are likely to raise future presidents of the United States... That makes sense to you?

I know you're really just racist, I just want to hear the tortured logic you'll need to explain how you're really not... somehow...

He's the Duke.

Glad to hear he's still with us.
Happy Thanksgiving, Henry!

There is a name I haven't seen on Fark in quite a while. Poor guy, alcohol is a terrible drug in you're addicted.

According to his wikipedia page, his average 'freedom' duration is only 2.01 days while his average incarceration is 4.49 days, although some have been longer.

Since you can't get alcohol while in jail, I wonder just how much of an alcoholic he is, considering how much time he spends there.  Seems like he really just lives in jail and when released gets drunk in public so they'll put him back in.

Should give him a ticket to Seattle so he can check out their 'wet' apartments where he can drink and have a place to stay.

1811 Eastlake...not sure how hard it is to get into one of those though.

And here we go again.  He's just another example of someone who is a complete drain on society. I doubt seriously whether he's ever had a job or done anything even remotely productive.  Instead, he's been a big drain on the taxpayer and those of us who actually get up and go to work every day. I'm sure we've paid tens of thousands of dollars - at least - to area hospitals after he's fallen and hurt himself.  I know we've paid hundreds of thousands of dollars to keep him in jail all these times.  Who knows how much damage this waste of oxygen has done to private property over the years when he's been drunk.  Also, how much shiat has he stolen over his miserable life?

You don't unlock that level until 7000 arrests and since the authorities are keeping him locked up longer now it's going to cut into his stats.

Just another example of the man keepin' a brother down.

How do you reach 64 if you're that legendary of an Otis?

I haven't seen anything about him in quite a long time so I was pleasantly surprised that he didn't look more trashed out and used up by now.  All the same, wouldn't want a close look at his liver.

"...Henry Earl, 64, is locked up in the Fayette County Detention Center--which one day should bear his name..."

Agreed. The poor sod deserves something for never hurting anyone in his quest for help.

FTFComments:
My most vivid memory of Henry Earl was when I was at Pazzo's one night, he came into Jimmy John's and was telling jokes and dancing for change. He was talking about how he just got out of jail and was trying to get money for food.

We walked outside and he said he needed a place to go and looked around like he was looking for someone. Next thing I know is that a cop drives by and Henry says "Welp... here's my ride." and grabs someone's drink and throws it at the cop car.

20 minutes outta jail and then right back in because he knew he didn't have anywhere to go.

here to help: Compassionate America.

Jailing him is one of the more compassionate actions that could be taken. Left to his own devices, he'd probably been killed or frozen long ago. Plus, 3 squares and a cot ...
