I wouldn't have pegged Corey Hart as New Wave either, but Wikipedia seems to think he was.

A few things to note about Peter Gabriel

-He's not "new wave"

-His voice still sounds great and he still puts on a great show

-He's been bald/head shaved, gray beard and chubby for about 15 years now

Did I mention he still sounds great? And he has some of the very best prog rock songs written. And he has Tony Levin on bass. And his recent show's production and overall sound is as good as they come. Hope he comes back state-side soon.

I ran into Debbie Harry once, I was working for a restaurant chain in Manhattan and she was standing at the door (it was closed) trying to get someone's attention. I thought it was an old woman wearing pink lipstick. I said "Excuse me mam" and walked inside. The manager said it's said what happened to her. I said who? He said Debra Harry. I looked again and said "Holy ... That is her!" She was still at the door, she wanted to give a cd to the chief, for cooking her a good meal.

The only "depressing" part about those pics of former Talking Heads is they can't be arsed out to put their differences aside and do some shows. David Byrne & St Vincent is one of the best shows I've seen this year. Ya, it's a pretty broad interpretation of 'New Wave'. Should have gone with '80's Eurotrash bands.

Swear to god, wouldn't have recognized Mick Jones,

The B52's all look great. Not trying too hard, unlike:

They've been active since 2002-ish or so, though Bruce Gilbert left after 1 album. All of the albums they've put out since (re)reuniting have been quite good.

the guy on the left is Matt Simms. He took over live guitar duties after Bruce left and became a full-time member on their most recent album.  IIRC, he has his own project, but I'm not familiar with it.

I'd still like to wake up next to her. Glad to see Thomas Dolby still has some pep--and I wonder about the Japanese woman in his video, how has she aged? And above all, what the hell is her name? No one seems to have any idea. No, her real name, wiseguy...

Danny says he'll never perform rock live again because the live performances were damaging his hearing.   I did get to see Boingo several times in concert back in the day and they were great.

He did conduct an orchestra playing his film scores recently, first time he had performed live in any capacity in decades.  unfortunately I found out about it way too late.  Hopefully he'll do it again some time.

I'm a fan of both boingo and his film music.   And he has a cute daughter.
