(RotoExperts)   Just because Tavon Austin is flashier doesn't mean he's a better fantasy pickup than Nate Burleson   (rotoexperts.com) divider line 25

Screw this whole fantasy season. I've put so much thought and research into every week and then anyone I start comes limping off the field in the first quarter.

Why are there like 40 blue linked descriptors after "more" under the headline?  Isnt that kind of overkill no matter the complexity of this throwaway greenlight?

In what leagues are all those running backs still available?

Tavon has gotten me 47 points in his last 2 games. I think I'll hang on to him, thanks.

It has been a crazy fantasy season for sure. I'm in 4 leagues and out of the 4 I've only got one team with a positive record, and it's the more difficult team to run (12 Guys in league, 12 players spots to fill every week). Go figure.

I'm in the same boat. My best league is a 12-man league with 10 spots and I'm 5-6. The worst part is I'm doing just well enough to never get anyone off waivers but bad enough that I'll miss the playoffs. At least it's a keeper league and I can try to scrap together some keepers for cheap for next year.

The league I have Tavon in counts return yardage at the same rate (1pt/10yds) as receiving.  I'll keep Austin.

Wendy's Chili: In what leagues are all those running backs still available?

None, because of injuries and so on. All of those guys are taken in my leagues.

12-man yesterday I freakin killed my selection (for the most part)
Brees (19), J. Charles (27), Danny Woodhead (18pts), Jason Witten (15), Tavon Austin (15), R. Jennings (11).

Other notables from my other teams:
Eddie Lacy (21), Pierre Thomas (12), Justin Tucker (15), Alex Smith (21)

They need to stop using these "percentage owned" numbers to justify these stupid Waiver Wire articles. Those numbers include the myriad of "free leagues" where the owners haven't signed in to the league website since the draft.

Riley Cooper? Really?

Nate  solid WR2
Tavon great flex play, bump if you get return yardage

Riley Cooper has been good. This week not so hot but the weeks before he had 54 points in 2 games.

Point is that he's not a WW player in any league where anybody is paying attention...

The first 10-15 guys on those lists are pretty silly... saying Cooper is a "hot WW pickup" is laughable.

Sounds like we have the same QBs, Steven Jackson and Roddy White.

Sigh my "genius" idea was trading AP for Lynch and White right after the draft

/Still hurting at receiver I dropped Tayvon after producing 1 week and failing for the next 8
//i had deandre hopkins, nicks, and dropson rounding out the receiving core (14 team league is brutal).

Anyone available that can score more than 4 points in a game is a good pickup in some leagues. The free agent pool consists of 4th string receivers and Jay Flacco.

I said Jay Flacco. What of it?

Who cares?  I thought that George Zimmerman guy already took care of this issue.

Should I drop Andy Dalton for Steve Hauschka? My team has been snakebit at Kicker all season (Dawson, Akers, currently Nick Folk) and I'm in first place and would like someone reliable down the stretch. Dalton has sucked balls most of the season and is the most logical of my 3 byes to drop this week (Harvin and Cincy D are the others)

Farking Roddy White.  If I ever have the opportunity, I will cockpunch Mike Smith for this; both for downplaying the injury and then letting White on the field when he had no business of being in an NFL game and was out there solely for the purpose of re-injuring himself. Oh yeah, I mad all right.

Del Rio called it a "bruised ankle" after his MRI. Doesn't seem serious... he's Day to Day. Check his practice situation this week.

the fact that he played through it makes me think it's a injury that while limiting should heal rather quickly.  Besides everyone else in that backfield drops the ball.  You can bet they want him in the line-up against KC this weekend.

After hearing how bad Philip Rivers plays in the cold, I benched Keenan Allen and his 124 (12 pts) yards for Aaron Dobson and his 0 catches.  Will lose this week's game by 10 and the division by a game.

I hate this stupid game...
