(NFL)   Will RG3 make it through the first half with his knees intact? Can Kapernick get the 49er offense in gear, or will his evil twin Kaperpick throw the season away? Put some Ben's Chili in a sourdough bowl, it's MNF time (8:30 est, ESPN)   (nfl.com) divider line 639

Also, to play off of an oft-repeated derp from this weekend:  Clearly, the NFL is scheduling a MNF game in DC to distract us from Obamacare.  XD

Given how the rest of my picks for this week have gone, the 'Skins are going to win by 10.

Somewhat related to MNF (since SF is the 7th seed).....

With the way the AFC 2nd wildcard is going, I am now cooling off on the idea of a 3rd wild card team.   Although, instead, I do think they should consider adding a "crossover rule" on the 2nd wildcard, similar to what I believe MLS & CFL do..... in this case, if the "7th seed" in one conference has a better record (or wins a tiebreaker) with the 6th seed in the other conference, they get to play as the 6th seed in the playoffs in that conference.

/I know, will that be too "odd" if San Francisco won the "AFC Championship"?  Probably too much for this to go through.
//I guess I put team quality over making sure you keep conference playoffs aligned up.
/// and Seattle used to be in the AFC

Prediction:  49ers will not see another playoff until they get a real QB.

I need Kaepernick to get me 26 fantasy points. I don't give a fark what else happens in this game. Just throw for three touchdowns, please. Use Vernon Davis. Pray for Crabtree. Run them all in. I don't care.

/a pox on Victor Cruz

That makes no sense. But then again, neither did last night's game.

It's meant to pun a number of GOPers, who immediately panned this past weekend's nuke deal with Iran as a gimmick that the WH conjured up to distract us from Obamacare.  No, I'm not kidding, either.

Well, it certainly doesn't make sense since MNF is not flexed...... but, you could put that out as the argument for what NFL/NBC kept NY & Washington as next weeks Sunday Night game, instead of a game like Arizona/Philly.

I'm torn - I need RG3 to do badly for fantasy reasons but I'll be at the bar tonight with some friends and I'd love to watch their faces as the niners lose to the skins

yea, what is up with Cruz this year, had a great couple of early weeks but just a whole lotta nothing since then...yahoo keeps listing him as a top receiver and is projected points are always double digits, then come game time, nada.  Is it due to Eli Manning sucking or are defenses just keying on him? (I don;t see many giants games)  I keep starting him, maybe I am a glutton for punishment.   I also have E.Decker who must have pissed P. Manning off seeing how he never even looks in Decker's direction.

So, you need RG3 to hand the ball off to Morris for 3 rushing TDs and special teams to give the Skins good field position so RG3 doesn't rack up too many yards.  There ya go.

I need Vernon to get 20.1 points for a tie, so I'm right with you.

I need Alfred to beat Anquan by about 14 points to win this week.  Because Peyton.  And the farking Chiefs D.  And my inability to not leave WR points on the bench because they like farking with me.

As a Seahawks fan, I'm rooting against the 49er's.  As a lover of defenses, I'm hoping both QBs win a Delhomme.  As a Discordian, I would love to see another overtime game that comes within the 2 minute warning (or closer) of a tie.

What a bunch of sluts. No wonder the niners kept winning sober and the cowboys had to resort to coke fueled binges to turn it up an extra notch. Cowboying with ho's has to be tiring.
