The venue, the fonts, the color choices, the drawing styles;  Graffiti might take talent, it might be art to some, but I'll never really like it.

I love mural, figurative graffiti, but I've always hated people just writing their name in a weird font.  That's not art.  That's tagging your name, or vandalism, or litter.

damn, the creativity of the video was pretty awesome.  the painting skills using just cans is impressive.  the only thing i'd improve on was the song.  wasnt horrible but wasnt great either.

I'd never call it "art" to begin with. In this case, the folks had permission to paint so I'm okay with that. But when it's on private property, like the above poster said, it's vandalism.

unlimited paint? can jesus build a warehouse so big he can't tag it?

Agree with the sentiment that no actual art took place there.

I didn't watch the video, I kind of skimmed through it. At one point, it looked like he drank the paint and was suffering convulsions....after that I thought "screw it, I need a snack".

What happens is that they run out of ideas pretty quickly and just paint a whole wall with one series of geometric shapes that just seem like filler. Oh and then they add hands holding paint cans to things. Daring.

And then there's actual street art.
Just one example...

Those people are called toys.

Looks cool but as far as art goes I'm not sure if heavy handed imagery and massive size equate to anything all that special. Keep in mind he's following a grid to paint all that in, basically just paint by numbers.

Dammit, I submitted this 3 days ago. (With a headline not cribbed from Reddit)
My close friend owns the the company (Ironlak) and the premiere on Friday night was simply awesome. I'm so stoked that a Brizzy boy has gotten this much exposure.

Spoiler alert Graffiti happens.

Would be kind of ironic if someone broke in and tagged it all.

So they bring the property value of an abandoned warehouse down even more?
I don't get art.

This. Graffiti art can and is often cool stuff. Writing your name over and over in big letters, however, is just stupid bullshiat and whoever does it should be drowned and their progeny put to the sword as a warning to others.

This. Plus, why are all the fonts and art stuck in the 70's? It's always like looking at some bad poster art from a Soul Train commercial.

I liked it, and I enjoyed the video too. I'm 52 years old, and have never painted graffiti in my life.
