Just go ahead and handle the thread yourself, K3rm.

No need for the rest of us to get involved.

That video would be completely different with heavy metal music.

Are they now living comfortably with their upper middle class auntie and uncle in Bel Air?

Were they unrecognizable to themselves?

"On the same day that the Philadelphia Inquirer predicted 22 inches of snow for the winter, "

Is that considered a lot in Philadelphia?

I don't know about Philadephians, but my wife would consider 22 inches quite a lot.

I think anyone's wife would consider 22 inches a lot.

In related news, does anyone know what the minimum daily quota for Opposing Views links is?  Just one day, Opposing Views links suddenly showed up on Fark.com and then poof there's half a dozen or so a day on the stupidest shiat.

It's a front for The Examiner secretly headed by Wampler

The staff wanted to be sure they had found a home that could afford to care of the two dogs --one with special needs -- for their lifetime and would agree to media interviews and follow-ups on the dogs to let the world know they are doing well, and the couple agreed.

I'm petting my idiot rescue dog right now, and I'm pretty sure I would not have agreed to media interviews and follow-ups to let the world knew she was doing well when I adopted her. They're adopting dogs for fark's sake. Even Mega Millions lets you take some degree of anonymity.

What?! A blind dog does not have "special needs". You treat a blind dog just like any other dog and the dog will be fine. Granted, 'Fetch' becomes a slightly more amusing game and you can forget about catching the frisbees.

I think they must pay kickbacks to the admins for linking to their crappy website. And if you are on mobile, about a third of the way into the story a big pop up ad for their own site shows up and blocks the rest of the story. Fark must be having some tough times to lower the standards that far.

I'd love for someone to explain to me why dogs found in Philadelphia ended up at the Chester County SPCA.

Do you get those from a dog rescue program or an idiot rescue program?

Yep. I just figured out that if I resize the screen out as far as possible, I can reach the little "x" to close that box. Frankly though, it's not worth the effort.

Maybe there's no room in the inn in Philadelphia city shelters.  And dogs may have a better fate at OperationAva shelter which is a no-kill shelter.  Know in nearby Camden, NJ which is even poorer than Phila., city does not even have a shelter for homeless dogs and cats.  An animal rescue organization in suburban Cherry Hill, NJ does a lot of animal rescue work of homeless Camden dogs and cats.
