rudemix: R Bush v TB or Moreno v NE?

Tough but I would say Moreno, passing is going to be tough up there today. The weather has sucked lately.

dougermouse: Eli, luck, brady, rivers... Pick two..

Figure Brady luck right?
/yeah small league

yeah Luck, Brady but like I said the weather sucks so I might think about Eli because Dallas D is worse than Denvers

He_Hate_Me: Since Marshawn Lynch is on bye this week, I have

- Knowshon Moreno
- Montee Ball
- Chris Ogbonnaya

I'm thinking of starting Moreno & Ball so that I'm guaranteed to get all of Denver's running yards & scores, but that's a lot of eggs in one basket, especially if Knowshon goes back to taking most of the snaps.  But is Ogbonnaya ready for primetime?

Moreno and Obama, but I like the idea of all the eggs in a basket. Tough call.

I've benched Julius Thomas in favor of Greg Olsen due to the injury scare. Ok?

Also, pick 2 of 3: Rashad Jennings, Alf Morris, Zach Stacy.

Thanks!

2013-11-24 12:03:43 PM

HeathenHealer: Pick three out of 4:

Kendall Wright
Steve Smith
Brandon Marshall (no brainer
Danny Amendola

You should start Kendall Wright since I'm benching him.  Every time I bench him, he has a baller game...

I have Olsen and he has been decently consistent. I would go that way.

Morris and Stacy I think/have been reading

Piizzadude: DrBenway: Lesser of two evils question: Minnesota's godawful defense against a taxi squad QB or New England versus Peyton Manning with single-digit wind chill?

Minny

Thanks -- that's how I was going, but then I heard the weather forecast and started having second thoughts regarding exactly how successful Peyton was really going to be. Between match-ups and bye weeks the pickings are very thin this week. I have 2 DEF slots in my league and I was already stuck with picking up J'ville versus Houston, rationalized on account of the Texans' apparent ongoing death spiral. Ugly ugly ugly...

If those are your options go NE and hope for a score or at least enough sacks/turnovers to keep it positive.

eugene'slament: Luck or Big Ben?

Luck despite the fact that Ben has been hot

Bush

Not crazy about starting both Denver Backs but just don't know what Ogbonnaya is gonna do.

eww...I got squeezed a bit too. I was counting on McFadden this week and I have a ton of Byes so I feel your pain (Lynch, Green, Bengals)

Anyone find anything definitive on Julius Thomas?

Hola,

Need 2

Gore v was
Stacy v chi
A Brown v dal

Right now I've got gore and stacy but all seem to have good matchups.

just stuff from last night. I wouldnt risk it if it is going to be a close call with the projections.

Benching Thomas is ok due to when he plays you can't really wait.  I'm starting Walker over him and Olsen is a much better option.

Jennings and Stacy, I like both matchups.  I don't hate Morris either but those two have the better matchup.

Yeah those are all good.  I like Brown a lot this week but going with what you have is probably the safest option.

Next question: Reuben Randle or Kendall Wright? I'd go with Wright but Randle was big in the first NY/Dallas game. Wright's certainly more consistent.

2013-11-24 12:20:01 PM
Ppr, need one rb and one wr:

Bobby Rainey, chasing last weeks points, stevan Ridley, looking at a td in 6 straight games, or Chris oingoboingo, going against my stillers turrible run defense?

And josh Gordon with the highest ceiling in the nfl, or alshon Jeffrey and guaranteed wr1 production?

And for what it's worth, I submit that I had the most disastrous draft in fantasy history:
Keeper: Doug Martin
1st round pick: Trent Richardson
3rd round pick: David Wilson
5th round pick: stevan ridley

PPR Wright, STD Randle but know if Randle doesn't score he probably won't put up a big number.

I think I'd go Ridley (safest) and Gordon (upside)

Thanks -- Wright's the safer bet. SAFETY FIRST!

It's all moot anyway: I'm barely in the middle of the pack in my league going up against the runaway leader this week, so barring some near miracles, I'm dead meat.

Boykin against Minn, Woodbead vs KC, or do I roll the dice and hope Thomas can go against NE tonight?

Woodhead

PPR
Gordon, Hilton, Shorts
Tate, Ogbonnaya, Vereen, LOLRichardson

Have Gordon, Hilton, Tate, and Ogbonnaya in with Vereen at Flex. Torn between him and SHorts though.

Also Cardinals or Rams D.

Boykin seems like a surer thing. Or at least a less unsure thing.

Keenum vs Jax or Romo @ Giants?

2013-11-24 12:52:23 PM
Moreno @ NE
Jennings vs TEN
Morris vs SF
Bell @ CLE

I get two.  Going Moreno and Jennings.  Morris is hard to bench but I have a feeling SF just demolishes Washington.

/yes, I am a Niners fan.

Normally I might say Romo, but the weather is pretty nuts. High sustained winds for much of the day may put the ball in Murray's hands more often than not.

I went with Keenum. Jax has been giving up a TON of points to QBs (kind of like every other position). But it is tough to bench the horses that got you in playoff contention.

That Ravens' TD to Ed Reed has to be the end for the Jets, even with a quarter of the game left. Too Much Man for the Jets to handle.

I made the call before I saw your response. Luckily I am solidly in 2nd place in that league so I can afford the hiccup.

Same with Moreno this week.  ugh

I have Stacy, Tate, Moreno and Gore....Went with Stacy and Gore...lost a lot of points...also had V.Cruz and E.Decker shiat the bed too. I ended up 50 points lower than my projected and my oppenent did 50 better than...I will probably miss the playoffs now.
