Am I the only one who thought this headline referred to an Israeli airstrike?

2013-11-23 10:55:58 PM
Thanks Obama

/for not thinking that violence solves everything
//Republicans and Israeli Jews could take a lesson here

2013-11-23 10:56:19 PM
Thanks Obama.

2013-11-23 10:57:18 PM
I hope this is as good as it appears.  I'm not the staunchest supporter of Israeli policy, but if this cools tensions it's a good thing for the world.

That's what I came here to troll post.

Anyway.. I wonder if any Iranian nuclear scientists will meet a suspicious fate in the next few weeks.

They sent Kerry over to put them to sleep with his jabbering, then forged their signatures?

At least they didn't forget to buy the defuse kit.

I BET THE PERSIANS DID THIS!

2013-11-23 10:59:25 PM
Nothing will change.  Israel is going to wind up attacking Iran.  Nukes are almost certain to be used.  All because the rest of the world wont' step up and do the right thing which is kick both Iran and Israel in the gonads.

2013-11-23 10:59:31 PM
While this is a hopeful first step, past behavior says Iran pushes forward on the nuclear program anyway.

Obviously, a distraction trying to get people to forget about the ACA.

The President is losing all credibility. Look at these polls.

2013-11-23 10:59:54 PM
Now in all seriousness, assuming they were going to use nuclear power for electricity generation, what will they use instead now?

Iran decides to quit wasting money on nuke development because it's cheaper to buy them from Pakistan...

2013-11-23 11:00:50 PM
I assume Barack Sharia Islama Obama will continue making nukes for Iran in the White House basement

People are actually saying that on twitter.

Wait, Obama elected the reasonable guy in Iran that lead to this? Wow, he is good.

That is very likely what's going on.  Although Iran and Pakistan have history.  But if it means nuking Jews I could see them doing it.

I want to say that past agreements elsewhere have generally included provisions for setting up reactors that don't produce weapons-grade materials. This agreement probably includes those or a future one will (after they show that they're capable of following through on this one).

2013-11-23 11:02:52 PM
This one?  Seriously???

Tehran-oh-sore-us-Wrecks. Or whatever. Nuclear enrichment without bombmaking is now Tehranny. How Iranic. Maybe it's all just a centrifuge to distract us from the Obamacare website and Benghazi. Thanks 0-bomb-a.

Still, the agreement is likely to face heavy opposition from key allies - chiefly Israel and Saudi Arabia

fark them.  If they wanted a deal, they should have brokered it themselves.  Constant sabre-rattling doesn't defuse situations, it only pisses people off.

-- as well as Congressional skeptics who have demanded much greater concessions from Iran

fark them too.  If you want to be a integral part of foreign policy discussions, put your big boy pants on and either get on the House Committee on Foreign Affairs, Senate Committee on Foreign Relations, or run for goddamn President.  if you're not any of those things and instead have AIPAC's arm elbow deep up your ass, then I don't give a good goddamn what you think.
