i don't understand how a dog can eat metal pins like that.  when it was chewing on the candy, didn't it get jabbed in the mouth and tongue?  how did it manage to swallow pins anyway?

i can't even eat doritos without cutting my mouth up.

Mine ate 5 20 dollar bills off the counter one day.  She only ended up shiatting out 2 valid serial numbers.  That dog cost me a ton, but she was awesome.

Lots of salt?

I think that Doritos are made of steel.  Ranch flavored steel....mmmmm

My ex-girlfriends dog got it's jaws on a bag of Hershey's sugar-free peanut butter cups one time.

If you have ever had the bowel loosening displeasure that even a couple of these cause a human, just imagine what 3/4 of a bag can do to a 16lb dog.  It wasn't pretty.

The same dog also ate 5lbs of fudge I had brought home from Hershey Park in one sitting.

I prayed that dog would die.

/eventually it did.
//of natural causes.

What the fark were you thinking putting sharp bits of metal into anything edible? Glue the project you shiat-brained dildo, you could have killed someone. What would have happened had a stray kid helped himself to your homework at school and inhaled a pin with it?

/end teacher rage
//You almost killed your best friend

Haha, we just saw a dog that ate some Christmas decorations, gingerbread that had been shellacked! It's a little dog, so hopefully it won't need surgery, but we made the owner sit with him next to another dog that ate two pounds of cuttlefish!

Jeebus that's awful! Luckily my dog is 80 lbs, so he can eat quite a bit of milk chocolate before he gets into the danger zone. I'm just glad he didn't need to go to the vet. We've been there for three different things since September and I've told him I'll just let him suffer if anything else goes wrong (not really, but he's on my last nerve right now).

I had a collie when I was a kid who got into a bag of Hershey's kisses. The crazy dog decided she didn't like the taste of the foil, and unwrapped the damn things before she ate them. Little foil squares all over the mudroom, not chocolate-covered enough to have been spit out after the fact.

Either that or my dad was playing a really weird trick on me.
