I actually had to read the article to make sure that is not what he actually said.

Yes, with his stress level a radical change in exercise will do him all sorts of brietbarts.

Going to the gym drunk, is he?

His "health professionals" that he's consulting with include a trainer convicted of smuggling steroids and banned from coaching in Canada for 12 years.

Rob Ford really does associate with the best class of people.

Harper should send Ford a nice Christmas present this year for knocking Duffy off the front page.

Do Canadians celebrate Christmas?

I was more amused by the small number of tags on the thread - usually it's a shotgun blast of quasi-randomly associated stuff. Instead, just "followup, crack pipe, gyms".

He needs to get in contact with Tom Cruise's handlers before TC took flight on Oprah's couch. They kept a good lid on it before TC sacked them.

I hope Ford gets the help he so desperately needs. If not for himself but for his kids. God I feel so bad for them.

I mean seriously, does this guy only know convicted criminals?  Motherfarker is so deep into his criminal shiatlife that he doesn't realize how abnormal a life it is.

It makes me wonder about the background and credentials of the "professionals" who said he didn't have an addiction problem.

The Star has two more interesting incidents today...
The one, that he was cooling his heels for three days at hotel in "crack central" (I guess Toronto doesn't have any other hotels) after a "domestic assault" call to police that fouled a sting on Lisi that was to have happened at the same time.  Behind the hotel, he was seen doing what looked like a drug deal from his car.  (this was in August this summer and way after the crack tape.  How's that only tried it that once thing working out?)  The next day Prime Minister Harper was having a CPC BBQ at a park in Toronto, and Ford attended, but no-one would let him near Harper, they thought he was intoxicated.
The second about a night in 2012 with Rob Ford yelling into his cell on the lawn of his house, an idling stretch limo in front and the driver and a "scantily clad woman" on the driveway when the cops showed up.  There is a character in the released documents that is a limo driver with a conviction for facilitating prostitution.  No word if it's the same guy.

There have been a number of police calls to his house, and a few of those bumbled or fluffed over by 23 division.  Look for maybe a cop or two going down with Ford, before the end of the 30 day hold on the balance of the redacted bits of the court documents.

The most telling thing about Ford and the police was when they arrested Lisi, he was processed in 22 Division, not in the boundaries of 23 Division where the arrest actually occurred.  Who's the superintendent of 23 Division?  Why, Ford family friend Ron Taverner.

Blair most likely instructed them to do that.  If I was Ron Taverner, I'd be making sure all of my stuff is in order just to be safe.

The whole ongoing Brazen 2 investigation would normally be run out of 23 as well and was not.

Interesting - I didn't read the ITO or any of that so that's news to me.  And I love that the explanation for why Det-Sgt Gary Giroux joined the investigation was "we needed experienced investigators".  Yeah, like the Drugs and Gangs group doesn't have a litany of great cops.  No, they needed someone with experience in homicide investigations.

Holy crap. If this is true, things could get worse for a lot of people.

CBC is reporting there was an APB for ford after he left the CPC BBQ.  Somehow he managed to get all the way down to the hotel on Jarvis and into his room before the police caught up to him.  I guess "supporting the front line guys" has a perk or two.

Now Magazine has tried to stitch together Ford's evening at the CPC BBQ via social media pics from that night...
he looks pretty cooked by the last few...  (they throw in on from 2 nights earlier and on two nights later, and he looks pretty lit up in both as well)

FTA: "Ford, who has acknowledged that he has weight problems". Well, that's good-sometimes it's hard to believe that just because you haven't seen your junk or your feet in 15 years that it's a weight problem....
