A spray-on condom would be really cool. Unless you enjoy the ritual of putting on the rubber. Then obviously you're probably happy with the current troublesome method.

What about ease of correct application? Spray-on condoms seem like a very easy way to get pregnant because some horny 16 year old didn't apply the spray correctly.

Regular condoms aren't 100% effective either. You take your chances any time you're sticking your pee pee in some girl's hoo ha.

No, but when applied properly it is about 98% effective. If the spray-on would be 100% effective, it would still be more annoying to apply properly in the heat of action.

I prefer the Baby Fish method.

The  Baby Fish is small, yellow, leech-like, and probably the oddest thing in the universe. It feeds on semen, absorbing all ejaculate and fluids and then excreting sonic impulses that trigger intense vibrations picked up by nerve signals in the passion centers of labia, the practical upshot of which is that if drop your drawers, stiffen up the old pan-galactic gargle-blaster, and insert one into your urethra, during sex you can instantly convey your sense of urgency and lust to your partner.

The downshot is getting it out when the nano-fiber string tied around its tail snaps.

A spray-on condom sounds cool, until you think about getting some of the condom spray into your urethra.

I thought graphene was cancerous by its very nature?

No.  Why would it be a carcinogen?  It's pure carbon.

And all living things on Earth contain carbon.

But as Warren Zevon said, "Life'll Kill Ya."

Speaking of...where would the reservoir be? Clogging the urethra would be a necessity.

They're working on that, too.

The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation also awarded grants to 10 other condom research groups on Wednesday, including a group looking to design a condom with universal fit that gently tightens during intercourse and a group testing an applicator that will apply condoms in one single action.
