The usual offer; Pay me $15k and I'll pretend to care deeply for up to 72 hours.

Yo Zappos! Imma let you finish . . . but this is the best Sh-t product of all time!

Classic comment from K.W.

I musta missed Kayne  the idiots initial comment, but ain't nobody got time for that.

Yo, I'd let you finish but I got to take the biggest crap of all time

Guys...I think Kanye and Kim (and/or the team behind their gimmick) have the Master Troll down to a science...

1.) Plan a "controversial tweet" ahead of time with Zappos/at the meeting described in article.
2.) Release said tweet.
3.) Bump in page views/sales for 'good guy' Zappos/increased web presence for Kanye, Kim/sites, news, etc.

Kanye is already known as the douche, so he takes the fall/bad-boy image perception increases/ resulting in kickbacks for Kanye; "brand" visibility/clothes line/music/tweets, etc.

Never heard of Zappos before this, so it worked.

One time I called their tech support when I was having problems ordering, and a couple weeks later they sent me a "hope we helped" card in the mail, ostensibly from the girl I talked to on the phone.

Interesting theory. Or Kanye could just be an epic douche.

Oh, I was so hoping Kanye made the mistake of crossing the Zappa family, leading to an epic beatdown by the Zappas.

"I got into this giant argument with the head of Zappos that he's trying to tell me what I need to focus on," Kanye West says on writer Bret Easton Ellis's podcast, released on Monday. "Meanwhile, he sells all this shiat product to everybody, his whole thing is based off of selling shiat product," he says.

Why? I'm starting to believe it's intentional trolling.

Now we need a Patrick Bateman dissertation about Kanye.

I would get pay-per-view to watch someone drop Kanye and Kim into an active volcano.

Yep.  I was skeptical about ordering shoes online, but I've never had a problem with Zappos.

I've returned a couple pairs because they didn't fit comfortably, and there was absolutely no problem with the return/exchange.

Tony Hsieh's actually a pretty cool guy.

THIS.

A few years back, I watched a live feed of him being interviewed by Leo Laporte on Tony's party bus at SXSW. Very impressive gentleman he was. Interesting business model at Zappos.

Bret Easton Ellis using Kanye to become relevant again is like Frost interviewing Nixon.  Weird, a little sick, but you can't help watching, and you're never sure which one to root for.

Does zappos sell Occam's razors?

Another +1 for Tony and Zappos.

I have size 15 feet, and they have made me believe in nice shoes again.

I love Zappos. I order from them all the time and you can return stuff easily with no problems. For your return, you can choose FedEx, UPS or USPS, so it's very hassle free.

I've never had to contact customer service but people really rave about it.

I have to return some boots to OnlineShoes and it looks like I will have to pay a restocking fee, so I will probably be sticking to Zappos from now on.

This should be obvious to everyone: no publicity is bad publicity. So in essence, he was advocating for the online retailer.

I thought they were going to show a Kanye West CD or concert tickets or something.

So...

Kanye is a gabillionaire global celebrity playboy and I'm supposed to think he even knows what a Zappos.com is?

Zappos is great.  Going to the mall - ain't nobody got time for that.  They have Levis in every size imaginable, which is nice since no department store can be bothered to carry my vanity sized 31x32 or 31x34.

2013-11-20 11:03:00 PM
Zappos is just about the only company with better customer service than Amazon.

2013-11-20 11:05:59 PM
Zappos rocks.  Got free VIP from a fark link, actually.  If you're looking for a pair of shoes they will literally stay all day on the phone with you, trying to find something close.

/They may have also saved a burning baby from a sink hole, but I've never seen the pics.

It's not that Zappos sells shiat products, it's that major shoe companies produce shiat products that have a nice profit margin when priced to what you're willing to pay.

No, no, no, no, no no, NO.

No publicity is no publicity unless you are some sort of freak that thrives in the land of no-one mentioning your name. Unfortunately this is retail.

I find it ironic the biggest perpetrator of shiat music masquerading as a great artist in the past 20 years shouldnt call anyone out for making shiat product.

The prices aren't always the best. They also don't sell White's boots, or the Redwings 9196 Postal Chukka. That means they don't cover about 80% of my footwear needs. For the rest, I buy whatever training shoe is on sale at Big 5.

I am the most creative and amusing Farker of all time ... OF ALL TIME!  There's legendary and there is this whole other level where I am at.  Like, that ninja pocket dude pastes my shiat in under an alt at Reddit, yo, and my pr0n collection makes gorgo nauseous, see what I'm sayin'?

Zappos is pretty great. Excellent customer service in case of an issue and you can't go wrong with their selection, delivery time (free next day delivery with a VIP membership which I got for free) and return policy (up to one year after purchase). I pretty much use them exclusively for all my shoes.

Too dangerous. There's too great a risk of Kadiation sickness or Kardishinomas. Imagine if the winds shifted!
