Washington..high school? Oh nevermind.

Pretty classy after what Washington did to Jay Cutler a few weeks ago.

Good for them.  But are they sure they can fit into high school uniforms?

I don't care what they wear as long as they throw the ball to Alshon Jeffery 45 times.  Would be nice to let them sell the T-Shirts at home games for the rest of the season to raise money in a relief effort for the area.

/holy shi*t, Bears only have 2 home games left.

I mean, I'd rather they help the people in the area than throw balls at Alshon. Just seems kind of mean to practice in the middle of all that devastatoin.

Still no love for the Florida Panthers.

Like how it only takes a couple of comments before someone is "why not us?"

Washington's high school is still in the state football playoffs and the city was hard hit.  It is fitting.

FWIW, the apartment building I lived in up until about three months ago was obliterated; my son's school is closed at least through Thanksgiving, as the tornado did a lot of window/roof damage that needs to be repaired before it's up to code; and there's too much more to list here.

My alma mater is hosting the Panthers in the playoffs this week. They have organized buses to help the fans get to the game, and will be providing meals for the Washington team and their fans. Which is nice. On the other hand, I would like to apologize in advance for all the rednecks from Springfield making Cyclone jokes this weekend.

Dan Snyder would go up a couple notches in my book if he changed their name to the Washington Natives... but kept the actual logo.

Hopefully they leave it singular.

They're not doing this because they're greedy. The Bears are doing this to feed the needy.

I'm in Washington, IL, and what Sacred Heart Griffin is doing is super classy and very much appreciated.

Heard this last night but could not find any confirmation.  Glad to see this is real and not some rumor/joke gone gad.

Nice to see the Bears honor my old school.  Still amazing that the Panthers are undefeted.... when did that last happen 93?

Saw this thread this morning right before I had to leave.
Went to Washington to help a friend with some relatively minor roof damage from the storm.
Just found out that another long time friend lost everything. Still haven't located his truck.

Would that be a cheese-shaped hat?
