The Joe Biden defense?!?  :D  Who takes advice about firearms from that idiot?  I mean, sure, he's next in line for the Presidency, and certainly should know something about the law what with being a lawyer and all, but he's well-known for blithering nonsense when it comes to facts about firearms.

Hell, if you call the IRS and follow their advice and you're wrong, the IRS will prosecute the hell out of you.

Snarfangel: jaybeezey: Guns shouldn't come out unless you need to take a life to protect yourself or others, regardless of what your dip shiat VP says.

Do I believe a random guy on the internet, or the owner of a sweet Trans Am?

The goddamn Vice President of the United States of America told us on national television that this was the best way to protect your home. I don't see how he can be prosecuted at all.

MythDragon: "I choose not to take a life that night," Barton said. "I fired my gun in the air."

You know, not all of us enjoy aerial lead to the noggin, even at sub terminal velocities. If for some reason you find your self *having* to fire a gun for the noise, point that shiat into the dirt.

Bullets don't fire out at escape velocity. Those things are gonna come back down. And even if you did have a gun that could fire into space,  that husk of metal keeps going till it hits something. That can be a ship, or the planet behind that ship. It might go off into deep space and hit somebody else in ten thousand years. If you pull the trigger on this, you're ruining someone's day, somewhere and sometime. That is why you check your damn targets.

Good thing the guy in question didn't fire any bullets then, huh?
