What with walevilmart not paying their people anything but pennies they can afford to cut prices and to think the Walton family is only taking home 73 million dollars EACH (that's 7 people) this year.

I'm telling family and friends I would rather have nothing than for them to buy me a gift from Walmart.  Hell, just donate the amount to a good cause.  Perhaps something for the poor (aka, Walmart employees).

Fark Wal-Mart. I made the switch to shopping at Super Target and Whole Foods a year ago and it was the best decision I've ever made. You pay slightly more for some items, but you don't have to deal with the shiatty attitude of the minorities Wal-Mart employs or the hordes of immigrants and their greasy spawn who spend their EBT money there.

Eew.  Walmart?  That's where AIDS comes from.  Have you ever gotten a hemorrhoid?  A zit on your face?  Crab lice?  I guarantee you it came from Walmart.  You couldn't pay me a million dollars to shop there.  Hell, my computer got a Y2K virus when I accidentally clicked on a link to their site.  When you buy these black friday deals, you know they kill a child in Africa for every dollar you save, right?

You know that whole foods CEO calls people who are poor dregs and doesn't pay his employees much more than walmart, right???  He saw a niche to exploit in the tween hipster crowd and charges 3 times what it costs him to buy that garbage.

I commend your principle however it is very ironic because it is actually the lower middle class folks that you are supposedly wanting to help who are really the ones flocking to these stores, standing in line etc for WalMart BF sales etc.

I guarantee you only a very very small percentage of BF WalMart shoppers are wealthy individuals.

I go to Meijer.  Still cheap, 24 hours, but somehow they still manage to have clean stores, decent stuff on the shelves, *and* unionized employees.

Crazy!

/Even the suckiest Meijers are better than Walmart by a mile.

Anyone who buys you a Christmas gift from a (k / wal / etc.)-mart doesn't really like you; They care just enough to get you some useless piece of plastic shiat from china as a token gesture to help sustain the illusion of meaning in your fair weather friendship.

I laughed at one Farker who posted that he only went to Wal-Mart when he was out of town.

So he didn't have any moral qualms about shopping at Wal-Mart, he just didn't want to get caught by his snooty friends.

Tack on the membership fee and the inconvenience of driving 30m to the nearest Costco. I'm a fan, but it's not worth it to me.

Things you buy at Wal-Mart break sooner. It can be the exact same item as anywhere else, from the exact same factory, made at the exact same time, but it will break first. I did this an experiment when I had to go everywhere on foot and all the other stores were in the other direction. Wal-Mart always broke first. The sin of that place accelerates entropy.

That or my brother could get to that stuff first. He liked breaking my stuff. And the only job he ever held longer than a month was guess where.

However, Costco is also one of the best places to work. You don't see their employees getting food stamps, that's for sure.

It also helps not having greedy, blood-sucking owners like that burn-in-hell Walton brood.
