Well that's sort of true, the real life zombies are from Haiti.

Was hoping to hear "Jesus."

Her answer made zero sense...how does that pop in your head?

If I had to take a wild guess that makes about as much sense as her answer....maybe the Thriller video was her only exposure to the zombie genre?

Best part, right there.  Second best was her trying to explain.  What a maroon.

In her defense, the term originates from the practice of voodoo, by African-descended peoples of the Caribbean.

Having lived in the Low Country of South Carolina, I can say that voodoo is some crazy stuff.

Or maybe that her lily white family was on the Feud with a black host and black opponents.  A panic black, if you will.

I never thought I'd say this about Family Feud, but that was hilarious.

Or her only thought about the raising of dead was about voodoo and she saw Live and Let Die.

I don't see it often because I'm always at work when it comes on, and if I'm not I usually have something better to do, but the few episodes I've seen since Steve Harvey became the host have actually been pretty funny.

Duh...it's simple.

Zombies are scary.

Black people* are scary.

She's surrounded by black people.

*Apparently in her mind all blacks are thug-life types, and they just put on suits to fake whitey out.

How would I know, why should I care
Please don't bother tryin' to find her
She's not there

Steve Harvey I've always liked for some reason.  I think he handled that pretty well, all things considered.

Richard Dawson wouldn't have left her off the hook so easily.  He would've milked it dry.

Ray Combs didn't have anything over Harvey and Dawson but he would've hung in there for all he's worth.

I doubt the answer would have been allowed during the Dawson show and quite possible not even on the Combs show.

Please find the video showing this type of comment from the Dawson version.  Also keep in mind I said "I doubt" so i wasn't saying it as an 100% fact.  I just don't recall too many possible racist type answers on the 70's gameshows.  I might very well be wrong.

It would have had to have been two people. They don't show answers suggested by only one person.

I can't exactly explain why, but I cannot stand Steve Harvey.  Even seeing him for a few seconds during a commercial is enough to turn my stomach.  A lot of his humor is rooted in mocking intellectualism, but he's basically got two spiels, either make fun of you for knowing something or make fun of you for not knowing it.  Uh.  Exactly.  His stupid schtick gets old, then gets boring, then gets irksome REAL quick.

Also, they're shambling mounds of dead cells. Zombie tissue is arguably necrotic, and necrotic tissue is black. So she may have not only a cultural point, but also a scientific one.

Nine times out of ten the new Family Feud always has a black family against a white family, rarely do you see both families the same race, its almost like they are trying to turn the Family Feud into the Race Feud.

Oh and a big "Fu*k You" to the asshat who wrote the description to this video.
