Baby, we ain't nothing but MAMILs (Middle-aged Men in Lycra).
Let's do it like they do on the Discovery Channel.

And by "it", I mean expose your grotesque Orangutan-like shape without shame.

What's so funny about that? Middle-aged men are in the best shape of their lives and would never want to have their 25 year old body back.

Yeah, middle-age brings on the most hallucinatory and vomit-inducing horrors to the body. And some people think studying aging to reverse it is a bad idea.

Not bad for the individual, bad for humans in general. You really want a world where people pop out babies at the current rate yet live to be 200??

You mean how birth rates are declining in the developed world? Yes.

And how is that an argument in any case? What about vaccinating children? You want to live in a world where kids survive killer diseases?

How can someone like you with an anti-life attitude be trusted to take decisions of any magnitude?

Haha, "Anti-live"

You go ahead and try and live in a world of 50 billion. I'll hopefully have checked out by then.

Reversing aging is trying to un-burn a fire.  Take some ashes and re-build them into a log.  Not impossible, but seems pretty improbable for a long time.  More likely to move your consciousness into a better, technologically produced vehicle.

But net population gain is still positive almost everywhere (everywhere but Russia, which is probably due to people leaving).  You are hinting that world population is decreasing, which is not the case.

However, the fact that birth rate is declining in developed countries does help the case for lifespan increase, since it is in developed countries that the best lifespan increases will occur, and it will be important that those people don't use their increased lifespan to have more children.

It would be interesting to know if people who believe that humans should live longer, also believe that they should child-bearing for that extra time or not.  The simplest answer would be "not", since women are born with a finite number of viable eggs, so just postponing death would not create more eggs.  You'd need to extract and save them, so you could use them over your extended lifespan.
