SPOILER

I'm not going to lie, Carrie getting shot was the most satisfying thing that's happened this season.

Now that Brody's family is effectively out of the picture, will this season kill off Brody? Maybe then we can continue with the inner-CIA drama that this season has been trying out.

I still enjoy this show and the last 3-4 episodes have been great, but Brody needs to die in the season finale as an attempt at redemption. That's all I want to see to have this be a good/great season

//even the super-24 "WE'RE RUNNING OUT OF TIME" Brody

Do people really see things like this on TV and think it might be something other than poorly written propaganda?

I just don't see them killing off Brody ever. The dude won Emmy's and people like my wife who actively root for Carrie and Brody to get back together so they can raise their babby together. I just don't see him going anywhere.

Propaganda for who? The whole premise is a dysfunctional government intelligence agency that can't even see a marine who turned because they're blinded by the politics of looking deeper into it.

Do you not remember the whole thing about how they couldn't look into Brody because it wouldn't look good to be investigating a war hero for ties to terrorists? That was pretty much all of Season 1 and parts of 2 as well as most of disavowing Carrie in 3. Hell Senator Dickwad won't even accept that Brody can't be the bomber at this point.

Honestly, for all it's flaws, Homeland is not a "USA! USA! USA!" show.  And no one who's actually watched it would think that.

They have humanized terrorists and made most of the CIA, the vice president, and the senator who will soon be running the CIA look anywhere from ineffectual to blatantly corrupt.

The underlying theme is middle eastern terrorists plotting against the US. And the terrorists could even be any of us! Oh god, i'm so scurred. HALP.

Although i know to a lot of you it seems believable because the TV has filled your heads with the same garbage 24/7 since 9/11.

so....you're complaining about a show you've never watched, only using wikipedia as a guide as to what the show actually depicts when you're miles off what it's actually about? And we're the morons?

Where did i call anyone morons?

Seems you might have a problem understanding what's going on around you, so TV show plots are probably even more confusing.

Suggest a questioning of our intelligence.

Again, if you actually watched it instead of just complaining about it, you'd know that your argument is wrong.

This show is suffering from "The Walking Dead" viewership syndrome.  I dislike the show, really could be a whole lot better, but I can't help but keep watching it in hope of seeing it redeem itself.  The internal CIA strife and seeing them successfully (maybe?) turn a high-ranking Iranian official are both promising storylines, and it feels like they've finally moved away from Dana's boring story, so I'm still hanging in there.

Showtime has definitely not had a good track record lately.  "Weeds" went way off the rails after the 2nd or 3rd season, "Dexter" has arguably the worst finale ever, and "Homeland" has strayed off the reservation season from the moment Brody decided not to detonate.

I have hope they're continuing the Saul stuff. I could really enjoy a Saul/Dal Adai show.

That said, I worry about Showtime now. Especially since they canned Borgias. Assholes that they are

The show is about a quarter-inch from jumping the shark. I swear to Jeasus, if it becomes a "single mom trying to raise a kid all alone" show,  im out.

Thank you. Though, even as bad as the finale is, I do love the last image of the show being those four people trapped in a cell, arguing with each other.

Stat tune at the present course, I'll predict that we'll soon be watching Saul and ensemble of  loyal Muslim-Americans protecting the homeland from those Ivy league WASP's  bent on shorting the world oil supply.

I've been hate-watching Homeland for awhile now, after that terrific Season One, and then Season Two was just a mess and ridiculous. But the last few episodes I've been enjoying it again, it's become more like the show I want it to be; Saul & Carrie and the gang plotting against the bad guys and not Dana on stupid road trips with boy troubles. And I love the skyscraper that Brody is living in (it's a real place but they aren't filming it at the real place). I would watch an entire show just about that skyscraper.

I am sure it'll go off the rails again soon (Carrie and Brody's baby? Ugh) but it's nice to watch and not just scream at the TV for insulting my intelligence again.

And whoever thinks it's a propaganda show is a moron. Last time I read the news, there really were Islamic terrorists plotting against the US. This is not sci-fi. Well, some of the plotlines are, but the concept isn't propaganda at all, especially since most of the Americans are dimwits or corrupt.
