In fairness, Jesus was busy harrowing Hell for those three days.  I doubt the baby was, although maybe it was doing some raids in Dis.

There are these people who are doing remarkable work with resuscitation. It has very little to do with shock paddles and CPR as we know it, but, from what I understand, had a lot to do with cooling the body.

They say that hospitals and medical standards boards etc. are slow to adopt their methods even though they show they work. Seems like every time we have one of these stories, it's after a body has spent time cooling in the morgue.

Maybe we need to pay attention to these folks.

Got a question, in The Walking Dead universe, suppose a fetus died, would it re-animate and chew it's way out?

I think the line is "condition was upgraded to 'alive'". But yeah, that's the quote I came for.

no. the virus is pretty much airborne and not everyone is susceptible to it, so unless it can get transferred from the mother to the fetus via bloodstream/umbilical cord, the baby wouldn't be exposed to it. i have to wonder about a zombie mother giving birth to a non-zombie baby though haha

Lulz but for real when I was born I was gray and not breathing. My mom's aunt Sue worked with me a bit and got me breathing. Apparently floating in a uterus with a dead twin isn't healthy for the one that's alive.

The faster you bury them in the Micmac burial ground the less likely they come back evil, or so Dr. Creed would have us believe.

Trying to go to sleep here. So thanks for that creepy piece of imagery.

That would have made for an interesting scenario for sure. Someone that is staying at the prison with Rick and the rest happens to be pregnant. A few episodes go by that don't really focus on her for any reason until one day Hershel is doing a checkup on her and realizes the baby has died and now they are faced with the dilemma of what to do.

It's one thing to be gross. It's another to be funny.

But oh, to make my prudish heart laugh because you are gross and funny is a rare thing indeed.

I have bronchitis you bastard. Thanks for the coughing fit. You owe me half a bottle of Robitussin :)

Yeah I have read about that same successes, but as you mentioned for some reason all our hospitals are being very slow on the take up.
