I was thinking this morning, now that he's on the market, and Rupert Murdoch has already made a boatload of money off him without even having to hack his phone, shouldn't George Zimmerman star in a Fox reality dating show? It's a shame "Shot of Love" has already been taken for a title.

Am I crazy or was this headline slightly altered? Was "arrested" added? It still works, but it drops it down to a 6/10 instead of a solid 8/10.

2013-11-18 02:10:16 PM
I predict this will be a very quiet thread, as Zimmerman's normal defenders will give this such a wide berth they will be in danger of falling off the Earth.

I don't understand why this guy wouldn't just drop off the face of the earth and live some quiet life instead of getting arrested every other month.

If he was a normal, nonviolent person who was simply defending himself because he had no choice, like his supporters have spent the better part of the last year claiming, he would have.

I think its becoming increasingly obvious this isn't the case. The guy has an anger problem.

The Trayvon Martin incident really farked this guy up. I wouldn't be surprised to hear he's suffering from PTSD.

I hope he gets the therapy he obviously needs.

You mean the money he is angling for. I just missed getting in before someone brought up PTSD.

I hope he rots. He should have rotted for the shooting.

Maybe getting arrested is addictive, like meth or potato chips, and the cops are just like drug dealers.  They'll arrest you once for free, but only to get you hooked.

Nahhh, they can't help themselves. Take Zimmerman, for example.

The therapy he needs involves a shared shower room where he can practice standing his ground on a daily basis.

I never defended the guy as being in the right, but I think the jury made a decent decision since the prosecution did a horrible job, witnesses sucked, and there didn't seem to be enough hard evidence to convict. Not that I think manslaughter at least would have been outrageous.

But don't fear, the more this guy gets accused of stuff (and the accusations are starting to seem true) and gets in trouble, I'm sure he'll get locked up anyway. What a dickwad.
Seems like one of those guys that starts shiat and just happens to get lucky enough to barely escape karma most of the time, but eventually those people start feeling like they're untouchable and get busted for some stupidly obvious crime.

Ummm. Nobody is defending zimmermans character, just the fact that the rule of law was followed. Sorry you think emotion trumps fact, but justice is blind for a reason.

Yeah.. losing 2 years of your life because of the media's need to foment racial anger wouldn't make you angry at all.

Do you honestly think he can ever have a civil life with the way liberals decided to portray him despite the facts? MSNBC edited tapes to make him look racist. That would piss some people off.

They had to wait to get OJ on theft and kidnapping and Capone for tax evasion, so they'll get Zimmerman on something soon enough. Criminals can't help crimming.

And here we go with the effort to rewrite history.

Lots of people defended Zimmerman's character. They defended his bizarre history of compulsively calling 911 to report black kids on bikes, and his apparent anger issues which predated the Martin incident. They defended him regarding his domestic abuse allegations regarding his wife, by attacking her character and calling her a liar who was out to gain an advantage in the divorce proceedings.

And I am pretty sure you were one of those people.

Just like the Unabomber?  In all seriousness; George Zimmerman and Richie Incognito are running neck to neck to people I'm sick of hearing about.

So you're saying the trial publicity was so intense it reversed the flow of time and caused all those incidents of him acting bizarre and unhinged before he even shot Trayvon Martin?

and he was found guilty of a felony assault of an officer before his daddy the Judge pulled some strings

Yeah, sort of like calling all freedom loving people who may oppose guns, and who call Zimmerman out on his obvious issues with said freedom (read: some guy walking home in the wrong area gets killed by a gun wielding, loser, douche with napoleon complex) - yeah, those are ALL "liberals"...

Your hair is an ugly-ass bird, dude.

I hope Zimmerman goes the way of all tyrannical a-holes. Looks like he's on his way. Don't blame him, though, oh no... he's the real victim, right?
