My thoughts:

A. That was cute.

B. Damn, that wedding looks f*cking expensive.

C. Also, very, very Jewish. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

"I'll be happy to share the day, but I can't be in the wedding party."
What are they going to do, turn down the gift?

That was the Jewishest thing I've ever seen.  If you watched this video and you were not a Jew, you are now Jewish.

It was good, but the fact that the Groom was a professional Broadway / Television actor kind of took it down a notch for me. Probably almost everyonewho took part was a professional friend of the Groom who had worked on a play or musical at one time with him. It was great, but it would have reached awesome level status if the guy had been just a normal Joe Shmoe.

I cringe at the thought that nothing like this will remotely come close to happening at the weddings the people I know will have.

Very cute, but the song is about a father marrying his daughter off to the ugly old butcher who she wants nothing to do with instead of the man she loved.

Pretty friggin' cool. L'chaim!

I've done DJ work from time to time, and I can tell you that this looks like one of the more expensive weddings I've ever done.  I would say that unless they knew all the right people and got a bunch of discounts, they easily could have spent $50-60k.  I have no idea what they were serving and where the event was, so it is possible that they spent even more than that.  I also have no earthly clue why a person would spend so much money on what is essentially a big party.  (My wife and I had our wedding for under $2000 and saved the rest of the money for the marriage itself.)

By choosing to be. It's amazing what you can find to be thankful for when you stop focussing on things to be miserable about.

And of course, now that I read more, it is the guy from "Do No Harm", that is the guy I was thinking of, after all.  Ugh.
