Honestly, if the usual cracks about the President were half as funny as Jay Leno, it would be a marked improvement.

Unfunny?  Check.  Untrue?  Check.  But not childish, insulting and mean-spirited enough to qualify as "conservative humor"

It's potato humor, at best.

Fark Democrat Brigade upset about a funny headline making fun of something Obamacare related? It must be a day ending in "y".

I'm not a big Obama fan, and the ACA has plenty of flaws, but the way healthcare has been done in this country over the past 70 years is a massive problem that needs a solution.  At least Obamacare begins to address this.  If you don't have an alternate plan, you should really keep your mouth shut and let the adults work on getting things right.  There are more important things than scoring points off your political opponents.

No.  Colbert is the epitome of humor.  John Stewart is mostly a talking head (a really good one), but has the balls to stick actual tough and important questions to people in power.  Unlike almost everyone else in the lamestream media

Headline's are meant to be snarky, funny or something similar to get greenlit. Submitter did a great job, even if CA's site was running well, since the general healthcare.gov site was not...

Not that I really fault the administration much, since it isn't exactly easy to make a site that tens of millions of people will access in a day, but it's still something that happened.

Are the Board of Directors of the insurance companies that are using the fraudulent websites to direct traffic to them being prosecuted? How about the agents that sign up people who are directed by the fraudulent websites? That looks like a very obvious case of fraud. If anyone opened a fake government office on the street, they would face jail time, and so would anybody working in the fake office. Wouldn't they?

Well, their message is directed at their base, which gets its "news" from sources willing to keep the BS alive (and keep their constituents riled), so it's not really a dumb idea to keep disproven conspiracies alive.  Evil, yes, but not dumb.

There is actually a real healthcare issue they could've brought to light, which really farked over smaller doctors offices (as part of the 2009 stimulus package), but I won't get into that. I am guessing they won't since the conservatives are equally at fault for that passing.

The worst part is the people who were happy with their health care plans then lost those plans and the insurance companies just cannot retroactively put those plans back in place. Obama really does deserve all the criticism over this disaster. But the U.S. definitely needs its health care system revised and I wish a single payer system had gone through.

I must  one of the lucky ones. I'm getting to keep my individual policy (so far), and the premiums are going up 'only' 12%. I looked at what the comparable Obamacare offering would be, and to get essentially the same copays and deductibles, I'd be paying at least 45% more than the new rate. Of course, I'd have coverage for a variety of things that there's no possibility that I'd ever need, so there's that.

I was thrilled this week to learn that my premiums are increasing. Also in the message telling me that good news: because the federal government has invented the authority to tell the states what a marriage is, I'll now be subsidizing every homosexual who wishes to add their (now legal) spouse to their health plan.

Thanks all knowing central government, for making moral decisions we're incapable of making on our own! We look forward to future legislation telling us what to read, eat, (not) smoke, and do in the bedroom. We salute you mighty Washington overlords!

Inasmuch as not one Republican voted for it, and a Republican administration is not in charge of implementing it, how can it be characterized as anything but a failure on the part of Democrats? You break it, you own it.

No, they would never (openly) criticize interracial marriage (hell, they'd probably try to credit its legalization to a conservative), they are criticizing the unholy union that brought forth into being that acme of evil known as Barack LUCIFER Obama.

Has anyone that biatches about healthcare.gov being a piece of crap even tried to sign up?

I was curious to see if it's as bad as people say last week so I tried it. It wasn't that bad and I got to the point where it is asking for payment. Granted I make too much money for subsidies so I skipped that whole section. The plans were not terrible and were not insanely expensive. On average the gold plans were $200/mo more than my employer provided ins. That's pretty competitive when you consider I am a VP at a large financial that you all hate, so I get great bene's. The cost is about the same as I was paying as a contractor until 2012 and the plans are better.
