Bryan Cranston is just so awesome. :3

Every Breaking Bad thread, someone brought that up as a funny ending, and every time I thought, "That would be so stupid."

Watching it now, I'll admit, I laughed.

All freaking weekend I've been thinking about the Bob Newhart ending with Joanna and Bob in bed, or was it Bob and Emily, and how everyone was so surprised, and how I need/MUST watch this episode again. And I come to fark, and here this is. How great is that??

That was good but they sort of missed the point of the crossover. The theory was that Malcolm in the Middle was a sequel to Breaking Bad where Walter White had to go into witness protection with a cover family after squealing and bringing down the whole meth industry.

So he somehow became twenty years younger? I think you are the one who missed something.

You mean like he apparently aged 20 years while dreaming about his Breaking Bad life?  Also, the first episode of Malcolm in the MIddle was only 13 years ago not 20, you unpleasant person.

I was simply relating a prevailing theory circulating during the last season of Breaking Bad. You could hypothesize that Walter's cover-wife was actually a makeup artist who worked for witness protection and kept him looking younger as part of his new identity. It would be a more creative crossover than just saying he was dreaming.

No, just unmagically cured of cancer. It happens you know.

You lighten up. Geez, I thought it was funny. I was just describing the crossover theory breaking bad fans came up with during the last season.

Well, not that I needed it, but this is certianly good enough Breaking Bad closure for me. I'm ready to move on to and get all worked up over another show. Sherlock perhaps.

While i liked Malcolm in the Middle and the mention of Cranston playing a badass meth dealer is what made me want to watch Breaking Bad in the first place, I would have gone with the 'someone else trying to duplicate the Heisenberg meth caused the turn on the Walking Dead' is a better crossover ending.

still, that was entertaining.

Well I mean they're obviously in the same universe since there is the blue crystal seen and then it has to be after Walt is dead and the whole point I'm trying to make is: Does Flynn get his breakfast the day the zombies start showing up?

Liked Breaking Bad and the ending, though the car key thing still bothers me. Not that the Nazis really needed to take Walt's wallet and car keys, then after they take them they leave the stuff within Walter's reach? But at least there was closure.

I like to think so, but then a walker comes in and eats his head because he can't move fast enough to escape. Double breakfast win for the walker!

I like Norm Macdonalds theory that Walt died in the car and the entire last episode was his dying fantasy.

I liked the nod to him saying he was still walking around in his underwear.

I'd been re-watching MitM on Netflix recently and came to the conclusion that if you want to convince Cranston to take an acting gig, you tell him he'll be walking around in tighty whities.

Still, awesome.  I'm glad this happened.

I don't think that was his idea, and anyway Vince Gilligan specifically shot that theory down. It ended just as it appeared to.

I liked the idea that Hank was buried in an ancient Indian burial ground and that when the DEA agents went to did him and his partner up they activated the curse and brought down the zombie curse.

Either that or Grey Matter Industries was experimenting with nanotechnology back in the early days and the reason Walter had to leave was because he was using himself as a guinea pig.... then when he died the nanites reactivated and brought Walter back to life.

I couldn't find a picture, but there was one episode of Malcolm in the Middle where they had their house fumigated with one of those big Vamonos Pest tents. At the end Hal and Lois put on respirators and go in there to get away from the kids.

very cool of him & jane to do this, i loved both shows,

Loved both shows, joke or not I always kinda wished they would end it this way. Real ending wasn't horrible...but wasn't very convincing. Yeah, ok but they could've done better. Didn't kill my love for the show any. If he'd shaved the beard, would've been a 10.

There was nothing ever in TV that was as funny or as clever as the original Bob Newhart ending.  This was a decent homage.

with the French subtitles, it was amusing for them to talk about "the b word" while being subtitle something "S"
