In Michigan, we generally have Lions fans in the lower peninsula, Packers fans in the upper peninsula.

It makes for awkward hunting camps.... we shared ours with some Yooper hunters, who brought a big green and yellow bus, up near Iron Mountain.

Awesome that they included a map to show where these cities are. I honestly don't think I have heard of any of them.

The Kansas City Chiefs have fans all over the world, because they play in the loudest
stadium in the world.
A lot of sorrow tonight as the Broncos win the battle in Denver.  Only the Denver fans
want to see Peyton Manning continue to win. The rest of the league wants him out.

Pretty much the line is bandwagon vs loyalty. Somewhere West of Goodland, KS

I think a half century of AFC has solidified New England away from the Giants. These days, cross the Connecticut west toward NYS, and that is non-New England/Boston fandom.

That's simply not true.  Many fans of the sport enjoy watching a talent like Manning, and many Colts fans are cheering "Go horse" until Manning retires to accommodate the Broncos.

/#1 offense v #1 defense is going to be great

Look, anything between Highway 283 and the Colorado state line might as well be it's own state, OK? We take no responsibility nor condone anything these people say or any action they may take.

Look jayhawk, it's my understanding that not even Kansas wants those people.  So you own 'em.  Kind of like how you can never fully disown that crazy uncle that seeks comfort in the arms of sheep.

Probably the most untrue thing I've read this week.  I'm a native hoosier, I really really want to see Denver win.  I live in Maryland -- pretty much everyone out here lauds about how much they love Peyton.  Obviously, people in Tennessee and Louisiana love him.  In fact, the _only_  place I've ever been that doesn't seem to appreciate him is Boston -- and well, that's not a bad thing.

So yeah, maybe you could make up stats or something next time to support your view.

Chiefs Kingdom ends where the people end. The plains to the north, west, and southwest, the hills to the east and south. It's a wasteland in any direction, and if you drive through the wasteland, on the other side you'll find fans of other teams: the Cowboys to the south, the Rams to the east, the Vikings to the north, and the Broncos to the west. But no one really knows what goes on in between, where only the bravest or most lost dare leave the interstate and explore.

Yup. Growing up a Denver native with a great-grandmother in Ponca City, OK I have driven through south west Kansas many times. Stayed overnight in Garden City once. Bizarre and horrible mixed with a little bit of dustbowl and cow shiat. A very surreal place to be sure.

Years ago when we went to Colorado Springs I observed the only thing west of Wichita was cemeteries and feed lots.

Gotta love Kansas City media, where the state's southern border is Ottawa. I guess driving out to Dodge or Garden City is just too much trouble for your puff piece.

I think that the geographical borders of any team's fandoms depend on its record.  Oddly enough, they seem to shrink dramatically when a team really blows.

I must be getting colorblind because the colors for the Vikings and Giants appear the same to me.  Which team is favored around Orlando in Florida?

Also I don't see any Jets fans on this map.  I'm OK with that.
