Crazy person believes that empty legal threats made by an individual can successfully intimidate the courts, newspapers, and the President.

From what I can tell, during a custody battle with his ex-wife, she accused him of molesting their children.  When he was asked about these allegations, he repeatedly invoked the Fifth Amendment.

Presumably, to avoid incriminating himself against any child molestation charges.

Here's a less confusing story.  Granted, it's Wonkette, but it has a PDF of the actual ruling:

Last week, Klayman called upon his friends, supporters and followers to travel to Washington, D.C. next Tuesday (Nov. 19) and take part in a coup to remove President Barack Obama from office.

Why isn't he in jail? If I had said this, publicly, 10 years ago, I would have been arrested.

I've gotten to the point that I want these seditious TeaBaggers to actually carry-out their threats of an attempted overthrow of the U.S.  government. The stand-off could easily last for 400 milliseconds.

/ Born, raised and reside in a Southern state. When I see a Confederate flag, I have one thought - treason. Not one iota of "heritage" or "just nostalgia" or "just honoring our past". Nope, just treason.

Political ideals are one thing, but I thought actually calling for the violent overthrow of the government was illegal.

If not, I'm slightly less proud of getting Czarangelous to do that so many years ago.

Wow, there's a blast from the past.

Also, I'm not sure Mr. Dumbass here called for a "violent" coup.

FTA: On Tuesday, he said, American patriots must "descend on Washington, D.C., en masse, and demand that [Obama] leave town and resign from office if he does not want to face prison time."

Mass of idiots on WH lawn: Mr. Obama, we demand you leave town and resign from office -- in that order -- if you do not want to face prison time!
BO: No.

That's it, thanks.  Though I've heard judges give variations of the quote to people who wanted to represent themselves (without being lawyers).

The SCOTUS has ruled in Brandenburg v. Ohio that advocating for the violent overthrow of the government in a vague way is constitutionally-protect free speech. If you start directing people to build bombs and planning where to put them, then you're in trouble.

You might want to brush up on your definitions there

Treason in the US is very specific, and it doesn't even come close to what he said.

Reporting the news is a violation of the first amendment. The Founders would be appalled at these leftist publications that dared to print stuff that happened. Arrest Obama now, this happened under his watch. Also, molesting your own children should be allowed, it's called private property. I want my country back.

the crime of betraying one's country, esp. by attempting to kill the sovereign or overthrow the government.

Seems like his November 19th plans are just that. Of course, he is a pissy little baby that has the mental capacity of a 5 year old and nothing will actually happen next week. So, this is all talk because his political views aren't popular enough.

Read the US constitution for the definition of treason and you will see that treason is defined as providing aid and comfort to the enemy. Unless the people of the United States are its enemy, then it isn't treason

Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort.
