He certainly taught them something about responsible gun owners.

Right in the middle of the Constitutional conversation, the customer whipped out a handgun. And then, apparently by accident, he shot a printer. That was pretty much it for the discussion. The customer declared that he "could not go down for this." So he fled. Police are looking for the accidental gunman and self-styled Constitutional scholar.

If it had been a copy machine, we would know it was RAND PAUL.

That's why I only discuss abortion rights in vitamin stores. Do you have any idea how hard it is to accidentally perform an abortion?

Why are the second amendments most passionate supporters the least capable of handling it?

Too bad we don't know his name, so we can't sing the song of this brave knight who ran away.

Hey, you try stashing 20 guns around the house and not having any of them accidentally go off.

Think about that for a second. This particular piece of the constitution has been a subject of intense discussion and debate among scholars, lawyers and politicians with intimate working knowledge of its writing, historical context and legal history for two centuries now.

Now imagine the type of random yokel who would look at something that complex, form an intensely unshakeable opinion on it.... and then argue about it in the middle of a gotdang vitamin store.

Anybody with that unmovable an opinion on something so historically complex is just not a very intelligent person to begin with.

Ironic? More like in today's America, expected.

Gun rights activists are the #1 enemy of gun rights in the nation.

I'll just never understand the mindset, that you need to be packing heat when you visit a GNC in a random strip mall in North Carolina. Seriously, are you afraid those hoodlems over at the Portrait Innovations are going to start some shiat?

There's no such thing as an "accidental" discharge. It's a negligent discharge.

So much for the freedom of the press.
Wonder what Ben Franklin would thinks of this asshat?

"I can't go down for this" strikes me as hilarious, for some reason. Now I want to go to Walgreens, drop something on the floor, look about in panic and yell, "I CAN'T GO DOWN FOR THIS!" and run away.

Seriously, though, brandishing your weapon at the local whatever is absolutely something you should go down for. Idiot.

Yeah, but this one was making his 2nd amendment argument while being an irresponsible asshole.  Which is rare.   Which means special20 can pretend irresponsible gun owners are also rare.

Maybe the printer was about to print some subversive Commie propaganda and his sentient firearm was just defending our great country. Wolverines!

As an actual responsible gun owner that's what I would like to know.

Why are so many gun owners ok with morans like Ted Nugent speaking for them? He makes all gun owners look like crazy assh0les. Then there's the "Show up in public in a large group with guns" asshats.

Jeezus. It's almost like they are plants from the anti-gun side sent to make 2nd amendment supporters look bad.

That sounds like a good bit for Tosh.0. Have people send in videos of them doing various things in public, yelling that and then run off.

By shooting the printer, I think he was trying to demonstrate that Second Amendment trumps the First Amendment.  I hope that the Supreme Court will settle this.

My theory is th most passionate supporters of the 2nd Amendment as well as most causes are usually the type of person who would be considered "that guy".  They are the person that when they get worked up about something, even those who agree with them roll their eyes.  While not representative of those who support the same cause in general, their outspoken enthusiasm usually results in making others "hate" the cause or doing something stupid which sets it back.  "That guy" can be female also, and sometimes they can be worse than male "that guys".

Uh...they don't write those stories because they're boring.  I'll write some examples for you though so that you can see what I'm talking about:

Example 1
John, who was a concealed carry permit holder, had a great day.  He didn't accidentally shoot anyone because he knew how to not act like a jackhole.

Example 2
Jerry took his rifle and went hunting.  Having been raised with common sense he only shot animals, not people.

Example 3
Tom went to Wal-Mart.  Due to the fact that he's not an idiot or an attention-whore he did not want to go in with his rifle strapped over his shoulder.

These stories happen everywhere on every day by the millions.  They're really boring though so they don't get covered by the press and therefore you do not see them on Fark.

While Loughrey could potentially be charged with involuntary manslaughter, police say they doubt that will happen.

Pro-life women are much worse than men, as far as tactics go. I guess when you've duped a guy into paying for your way of life you can spend your time harassing strangers in a way that most people would rather you go to jail for.

Example 4.
Harry left his Glock on the coffee table again like he always does in case Obama shows up to take him to a FEMA camp. This time little Harry Jr. got hold of it and put a hole in the dog. Of course Harry told the neighbors and his wife his gun went off by itself while he was cleaning it so nobody called the cops.

These stories happen everywhere on every day by the millions. They're covered up by Responsible Gun Owners though so they don't get covered by the press and therefore you do not see them on Fark.

I think we need to shift the emphasis from "the right to bear arms" to "a well-regulated militia".
