Way to dress up for your big day, Rob.

He's only making it worse for when he inevitably loses his job.

Well, we know he won't starve. I mean he's got enough **** to eat at home.

We should have seen all of this coming. To quote an article from two years ago, shortly after his election:

Two years later, mysterious signs popped up on University Avenue: "Wife-beating, racist drunk for mayor!" To the media, Ford said, "I never laid a hand on my wife."

Racist drunk? Maybe. Wife-beater? No way.

Reminds me of a story I just heard about an election in Alabama.

'Member of Secessionist Movement': No problem, still getting money from FreedomWorks and other big money groups.

'May have voted for a Democrat once in his life': An unfair character assassination, you've gone too far!

I think everything everyone is doing at this point is symbolic. Nobody is doing the one thing that really needs to be done: Get this guy some help.

This is all immensely entertaining, like a high concept movie scenario (starring the ghost of Chris Farley) playing out in real life. Not only is the guy a total train wreck, he's approximately the size of a train!

Subby fail.

He literally said he was too busy going down on his wife to eat another woman's pussy.  He said the word pussy to a roomful of reporters.

I've already seen hell and it's not this headline.

That might be going on privately - which would be proper.

Was this before or after he told people kill run over bike riders for clogging the roads?

From the last paragraph, this got a good laugh from me... Sun News is often described as the "Fox News of the North", and Fox is calling their Canadian lackeys a tabloid?

"The tabloid Sun News Network announced that the mayor ...will do a current events television show."

nope. I hope he sticks around. I find this funny as hell. just take away any real power he has and let him become a political sideshow.

Something tells me this is NOT going to be a dignified exit.
I'm envisioning Blob Ford being forcefully removed from office via some construction equipment - and his pants will be around his ankles - and those pants will be "soiled".

Chaide: He's only making it worse for when he inevitably loses his job.

He's really rich so he doesn't need a job.  That is the worst part (well actually the drunk driving, crack and prostitutes are the worse part but you know what I mean).

HotIgneous Intruder: He's going end up LIVING IN A VAN DOWN BY THE RIVER.

He's very rich so he will probably die before making it to the van.

One of my favourites from police surveillance. Middle of the day, by an elementary school, likely drunk, taking a piss.

Its so nice to see someone actually calling into question the mental facilities of the defendant, in order to ascertain his abilities to rule the city.

/American GOP's and Teabaggers nervously watch and hope they don't have to go and get tested, in order to get the sane stamp.

NobleHam: Wife-beater? No way.

I don't know, cops have been called out to his house a few times and there have been police reports where Renata had some unexplained bruises.  Plus, lots of anecdotes that have been worming their way into the public conversation.

I won't accuse him of anything without proof, but at this point, would it really surprise you if he was?  He's a weapons-grade scumbag in just about every other possible way, so it wouldn't surprise me at all if he smacked Renata around a few times.  He's a complete sociopath and has the most farked up moral compass I've seen on an elected official in this city.  Him being a wife beater would sadly not surprise me at all.

Wouldn't surprise me at all either, especially based on the article I got the quote from. My point was just that he didn't deny being a racist or a drunk.
