How about we take a test, that shows how likely to buy stuff in adds, and those of us who score as 'cheap bastard' or 'legally blind' never have to recieve ads ever again?

They're using The Mindy Project for promotions? I haven't met anyone who actually likes that show.

When the second dot com bubble bursts because advertisers figure out that nobody sits through their sh*tty, poorly made pushcast ads, everybody is gonna have to start charging for all this free stuff we take for granted.  That's gonna be a chorus of scalded cats that will be louder than Hiroshima.

Ironic, coming from Gawker who throw completed unrelated "related" stories in the middle of the farking articles.

I keep saying that that movie is prophetic.

People in the future will watch it and will think that it was science fiction, not comedy, ala H. G. Wells.

I like how some content providers have started guilt tripping their user base for using adblock instead of blaming the advertisers for making ads so intrusive, annoying, and shiatty that they have to be forcedly blocked from sight.

I heard you can get infected by ads by having unprotected cybersex. Is this true? Also that 'Trojans' means different things on the intertubes, than irl. What brand of condom should I use on my hard drive instead?

I notice that in two years youtube has gone from occasional ads to ads on every single video.

Not only content providers, I hear certain content aggregator sites do this too.

And now for some reason, I'm thinking about going outside and feeding a squirrel with a newspaper circular.
