Lightweight. I built one and put it in my living room in my apartment.

A lifelong Doctor Who fan would know how to spell the name of the show.

I see my pedantry has been acknowledged. Fantastic!

"What does a lifelong Doctor Who fan build in his garden?"

Me:  The answer is...a TARDIS

*clicks link*

Yes!

Friend of mine found a full-size TARDIS that someone built in a schoolyard in Manchester, NJ.

It's hard to tell, but I think that'd make a fine out house. We can print out the article to use for tp.

"I'd never really done any wood-working before, I just learned as I went along. I'm really pleased with the results."

Good for him. I was going to make some snarky remark but it's hard to hate on someone learning something new.

That would have been useful for the dump I took earlier today that convinced me that my colon is bigger on the inside. My guts are a TARDIS.

Same here.  She does tolerate the TARDIS cookie jar, though.

"Want to look in my TARDIS" is how I pick up the ladies at the bar.  It's bigger when it's inside

Not so much "foul" as "fantasy", I suspect. I'm thinking his ideal night involves a 12-TimeLord-and-man circle jerk into that fez.

There's a collective workspace in Palo Alto that has a full-sized TARDIS inside. It's a pretty sloppy one though. Don't know why this is news-worthy, other than 50th fever.

Is "collective workspace" fancy book-larnin for "office"

Now, what he needs to do is build a little underground area beneath it so it's bigger on the inside.

Hire some local cosplayers that do that. They can move themselves to freak out any guests you might have.

No, its an open workspace where people pay a monthly fee to be a member. It's instead of an office. Used by young startups and freelancers.

The words you're looking for are "incubator" or "shared office".

If it's for art, then you call it a "shared studio".  If it's for manufacturing, then you call it a "pilot plant" or "shared fabrication facility".

"Workspace" is a neologistic weasel word.  Is Starbucks my workspace if I stop in there to download some files?

That's it.  I'm building a Citadel of the Timelords.   Someone donate materials and a few hundred square kilometers.   I'll do the rest.

Do you have to threadshyte so much in greened Doctor Who threads?

Eff off. You sound like one of those guys that walks into a bar and says "Alcohol is against my religion, can you guys please knock it off?"

still sounding like that.

Do you also go into circumcision threads and say "eewww.. you guys are talking about penises. Are you lot ghey or what?!?"

Or into boobies threads and comment on how this thread disgusts your feminist side, or go into [insert topic here] and complain that [insert topic here] is getting too much attention?

Well.... bye.jpg

We will stop forcing you at gunpoint to click on Doctor Who threads.

Alternatively, we will make sure that all such threads are clearly marked with the words "Doctor Who" in the title so you can avoid clicking on them.

I realize fanboys aren't going to take criticism well, but there are threads posted to both the Geek and Entertainment tab daily, and it's annoying. Obviously there is a Doctor Who fanboy admin who will greenlight any Doctor Who-related flatulence and is quite happy with it spilling over into the Geek tab.
