Subby fails. Robert Wise directed Star Trek: The Motion Picture and Blake Edwards directed Breakfast at Tiffany's.

Marvin Paige was a  casting director. Big difference.

What'd you think of Wise's remastering of ST: TMP?  I already enjoyed TMP, but I thought he nailed it.  No too over the top with new FX simply for FX's sake.

Much better. There are still issues with the movie. At least for me, on a scale of 1 to 10 the remastered ST:TMP moves it from a 4 to a 7.


I agree, it was a lot better.  I think with those changes it made it better than the bulk of the TNG movies...
