Muta: A bit off topic but why is the dollar sign placed at the beginning but said at the end. If the line is to be read, "One hundred and five million dollars", shouldn't it be written "105 million $". Likewise if it is written "$105 million" shouldn't it be read "Dollars, 105 million". I understand the convention of reading "$105 million" as "One hundred and five million dollars" but why is it this way.
BFletch651: $105 M could buy about 50 square miles of land in rural Florida. You could make a huge state park and name it for yourself.
timster: As for being on the left rather than the right of the number ("105$"), that's just a historical oddity.
