impaler: Still, Barbara stands by the movement, and she's not alone either. Others say if it's going to reduce their dog's pain, instead of putting them on morphine or something of that nature, then they would definitely give the drug to their pet.

I would give my dog morphine before marijuana.

It's not like they're going to get addicted and continue its use in a harmful manner.

If someone has to give their dog morphine for a chronic pain condition, it's time to let that animal go.

My aunt and uncle are the heads of their local human society, and I watched them keep their poor dog alive for YEARS, with constant shots, operations, etc...  To me, that's more cruel than just  freeing them from their pain. I can't understand why they did that.

I had to put down a 14 y/o Shih Tzu a few years back. Hardest thing I had to do, and I'll freely admit I wept like a biatch, but it was the right thing to do. Making him to continue to suffer would've just been  cruel.

nekom: I watched a guy feed guinea pigs marijuana leafs.  They ate all their food and got scared.  True story.

Hungry and scared guinea pigs?  Isn't that their default setting?

To ask this question they have already held their cats face and force fed them smoke.

Never got that... only people who want to get high should get high... not worth forcing on anyone or anything. There are some douchebags out there.

Increased appetite, which can be beneficial to people with nauseating medications, hell yeah I can believe that.

Just because it's a "medicine" doesn't mean you give it for everything.

Met a woman a few weeKs ago, she was almost in tears because of pain. Suggested she try Indica, she asked if I could get some. Thanks to Colorados new laws, I was able to say, yeah, I have seething at home that will probably work for you.
She smoked up, for the first time in years, and fell asleep.
When she awoke, she said it was the first good, pain free sleep she had had in ages.
Good enough for me.

Candy Colored Clown: You should give your pet to a responsible owner and shoot yourself in the head.

You should stay in Texas and never breed.

rebelyell2006: I saw a flyer in a shipment from a vet supply company that advertised homeopathic dewormers. How retarded can people be?

I'll respond to this in a few minutes.  I'm busy strapping magnets onto my horse at the moment.

Helps mainly with nerve pain. Which is why spinal injuries and cancer patients are the main users for medicinal reasons. Growing tumors press on nerves, and spinal injuries, well the spine is really just a long cluster of nerves.

But yeah, If you stubbed your toe or something it won't do much.
